General Hospital spoilers tease that Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), with the propensity of GH writers to “SORAS” (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) children, could possibly be Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) other son, conceived while he was in Turkey in 2010! Of course, this would mean Drew either moved on from Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) a lot quicker than his memories in Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) said he did, or he could have had a wild night and a one night stand with a Turkish woman – or worse!
General Hospital Spoilers – There Have Been Various Theories About Dev Cerci’s Parentage
There have been various fan theories about Dev’s parentage, the most popular seeming to be that he is the son of Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and either Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) while he was guarding Brenda in New York. Both theories leave one scratching his or her head wondering if he’s Brenda’s, how did he wind up an orphan on the streets in Turkey? Even more head-scratching of a question, how did he get acquainted with Dante and know where to find him if he’s Brenda’s son?
GH Spoilers – He Could Also Be The Son Of A WSB Agent And A Turkish Woman
Dev knows English very well so obviously he has been around English-speaking people or his parents were English-speaking. He does seem to be of Middle Eastern descent from at least one parent and still has a decidedly not East Coast United States accent when he speaks. General Hospital writers have still not given fans any clue of his past life, whether he is a war orphan or possibly a runaway, and it seems to be a topic of conversation that Dev always changes the subject about. It is possible that his parents, or at least one of them, was killed in front of him and that is why he doesn’t want to talk about his past and why he grew up mostly on the street and learned to get by as a pickpocket and a thief.

General Hospital Spoilers – What If Dev Cerci Was Fathered By Drew Cain?
If General Hospital chooses to make Dev another son of Drew Cain, fathered while he was in Turkey in 2010, Dev would have been SORASED from nine years old to sixteen, but that would not be surprising. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) has been SORASED from around eighteen months old to four or five years old! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was SORASED from around eight years old to fifteen years old at the time of Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) latest marriage to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)!
A big leap of aging of children is not at all unusual for General Hospital! While Kim will be written out since Tamara Braun is leaving GH, Josslyn could take a lot of comfort, as would Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) in knowing Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) has a half-brother through Drew!
There would also be a lot of soapy situations Dev could get into with how he grew up and learning to be a Quartermaine! Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) would have a conniption fit, and that might be fun for fans to watch! Scout Cain (Ella Ramicieri) would have another big brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) a nephew, and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) a cousin!
