If Mike were to attack Marcus, Mike could be seriously injured if Marcus has to defend himself; Marcus is a much bigger man, and he was a cop! His old cop instincts could kick in and Mike may be knocked unconscious and possibly suffer a concussion!
Various General Hospital spoilers say that Sonny will have occasion to wait anxiously, and also Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be heartbroken over something (that could apply to several situations!) and that she will meet with Dr.Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Griffin, of course, is a neurologist; could this be about Mike suffering a brain injury after Marcus decks him?
If this is the scenario the upcoming spoilers are describing, Marcus will be lucky that Sonny doesn’t decide to retaliate by pressing charges, or even worse, order a hit! Sonny’s been keeping his nose clean for quite some time now, and not involving himself in mob activities, although he probably does keep in touch with his contacts in the mob world.
The fact that Sonny experienced firsthand Mike’s misplaced rage over his not understanding or remembering what he did with his watch should help Marcus too, if this scuffle takes place when Mike’s family is not there.
However, Marcus’ general distrust and dislike of Mike because of his friendship with his wife Yvonne (Janet Hubert) could influence Marcus to defend himself a little more aggressively than he normally would, and that could be a real problem; not one that could be proven as a causative influence, but definitely causing worse injury to Mike than it might otherwise.

Mike knows not what he is doing, nor should be held responsible. Sonny keeping him home now is bordering on cruel; it is for his self satisfaction.
Facilities are in place to prevent and/or handle bad situations. A child is in
the house & that is wrong every which way.
I agree. My siblings and I are dealing with this now with our mother. We are going to have to make a decision soon about a facility before she hurts herself or someone else. Your points are so true. I can’t believe the writers aren’t writing this better before tragedy happens,
Probably. He is at a state where consequences mean nothing to him. Poor Sonny!
