General Hospital Rumor: Willow’s Son’s Untimely Death – More To Loss Of Jonah Than Meets The Eye

General Hospital spoilers tease that that the tea used in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) initiation ceremony could have caused an event that will be even more heartbreak for Willow than knowing her father, Douglas Miller was murdered by Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

General Hospital viewers know that eventually the truth will come out, and Willow will find out that the baby boy she has gotten attached to as hers, Wiley Cooper-Jones (Eric and Theodore) is not really hers; he’s Jonah Corinthos, and her baby died the day he was born!

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow’s Baby Died Right After Birth

General Hospital viewers will recall that the original Wiley was much smaller and had a somewhat darker complexion as well; although Mercy Hospital would probably not have released him if he were too underweight or there was something wrong with him, beyond the usual tests done on newborns, if he wasn’t showing symptoms of anything abnormal, he wouldn’t have been tested for anything further.

To be sure, Willow would have had adequate prenatal care and at least some basic tests would have been done to screen out certain birth defects, although not as many as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has had done because of her age, and also because of her history of high-risk pregnancies. Willow’s prenatal care or at least part of it may have been included in the adoption package.

Is it possible that the tea or a drug in the tea could have caused abnormalities in Willow’s baby that led to his crib death? Although that would be even more undeserved heartbreak for Willow it would definitely be karma biting Shiloh where it hurts as well!

General Hospital Spoilers – Dawn of Day Tea Really The Cause of Death?

According to the Mayo Clinic, drugs in the tea certainly could have caused problems in the fetus, including undetected problems in the brain, heart or lungs, and underweight, although Valerian root itself is generally recognized as safe even in pregnancy, and is used by many homeopathic practitioners on pregnant women.

However, unless the baby’s body is exhumed in order to match whatever DNA may still be left in it for cross matching purposes to Shiloh as part of a court order, any drug that may have passed into him while unborn may not be discovered and used against Shiloh.

It looks like we’re in for a great episode on Wednesday! As always, more detailed Spoilers and Breaking news will appear here on Celebrating The Soaps!

Interesting theory but not really possible since Wiley’s conception happened years after Willow’s initiation.

I hope that’s not the case b/c if Sam does get pregnant, then maybe she may lose the baby too.
And we don’t want Sam to lose the baby again that will be her 2nd. time.

Please with these stupid behind questions and theories. She drank tea before she got pregnant. And as Lolziceprincess noted, she had the baby years after. Can we just stop the silly speculation

So tired of waiting for the truth about the baby switch
There dragging this on wayyyy to long

  • Guest

I agree with HJM725 that storyline is getting boring as hell

  • Guest

I don’t think so, I certainly hope not

GH has been notoriously famous for dragging things out. So annoying.

  • Guest

Between Shiloh and baby swap stories, GH had gotten redundant and uninteresting. Something has to change very soon or GH is going to start losing viewers by the masses. OFF SUBJECT: Am I the only one who thinks new Nina is awful? I’m sure she’s a very good actress, she just isn’t pulling “Nina” off. Sometimes when I see her I forget who she is.

Nobody ever said that Jonah died. I thought that Wiley died. Please don’t change that now!

  • Guest

That’s only natural when they change and actor. You will get used to her. Give it time.

  • Guest

In the beginning Wiley died. Nell gave Jonah to brad and she took Wiley and said that it was Jonah that died. So now Wiley is really Jonah

  • Guest

Nope, she is awful. I loved the old Nina, this one is dull and in my opinion cant act

I’m not sure how this could be when Harmony was talking to Jason she said this happened in 2014 so that doesn’t make any sense at all

  • Guest

She drank the tea when the baby was conceived, there’s no way it would have affected the fetus. Unless she drank it throughout her pregnancy

If I remember correctly Jason came to Sam’s rescue before Shiloh had a chance to rape her, unless Sam like Carly have a divine intervention to lead to pregnancy as neither was shown or inferred to have an intimate session with Shiloh or Sonny. But if the writers want Sam to have been raped and she couldn’t remember the incident, then she will become pregnant. I hope the writer’s don’t stoop this low, but who knows what to expect these days on GH.
