General Hospital Rumors: Alex And Anna Both Have Some Of Each Other’s Memories?

General Hospital Spoilers: Alex Devane Marick’s (Finola Hughes)General Hospital spoilers tease that not only may Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have some of her twin sister Alex Devane Marick’s (Finola Hughes) memories, but Alex may have some of Anna’s as well. No wonder Anna was shocked and confused when Alex, being taken away by the WSB, told her she wanted her to tell Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) she was sorry she couldn’t see him again for one last time.

There may be a reason for this. Not because Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) is really Alex’s daughter instead of Anna’s, but because Alex has some of Anna’s memories too. She is just as confused as Anna about which memories are really hers and which are her sister’s.

Longtime ABC Soaps viewers who watched both General Hospital and All My Children, before it was canceled, will recall that the character of Alex Devane Marick was introduced on All My Children. Anna eventually got to Pine Valley as well, where she married Dr. David Hayward (Vincent Irizarry) and gave birth to another daughter, Leora, who sadly died of a heart defect.

Naturally, both David and Anna were devastated and the marriage crumbled; eventually, Anna moved back to Port Charles. Alex was married to Dimitri Marick (Michael Nader).

However, Alex started having flashbacks to life as another person, Anna, who Alex had heard died in a boat explosion ten years earlier. Anna and Alex had no idea of each other’s existence for many years, having been separated as infants and raised separately.

The woman who raised Alex, who coincidentally was named Charlotte, as Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) daughter is, stole Alex from their mother and raised her as her own. Charlotte was a very devious woman who worked as a spy for a terrorist organization that sounds suspiciously like the DVX of General Hospital storylines.

General Hospital Spoilers – Where Did Memory Transfers Take Place?

She had placed Alex in a brainwashing facility disguised as a mental hospital, and Alex was brainwashed to think she was Anna, trained as a spy, and was under orders to find Anna and kill her. But by the time Alex found her and saw she was her twin, she couldn’t go through with it.

Whether this brainwashing facility will later be revealed by GH scriptwriters as where the memory transfers took place, and whether it happened before or after Anna married Robert and gave birth to Robin, remains to be seen.
