As many fans can recall, the actor was left quite disappointed when he found out that his contract was not being renewed at Days of Our Lives. He first landed the role of Stefan DiMera several years ago when he had to step in for actor Tyler Christopher at the time.

What was supposed to be a short stint ended up being a long one for Brandon as Salem soon became his new home away from home.

However, something must have happened behind closed doors because both the actor and his DOOL fans were shocked to find out that he has been given the pink slip.

There was some speculation suggesting that Brandon was going to go back to General Hospital. Sadly though, that never happened.
