General Hospital RUMORS: Is Dustin Undercover? Did Dante Send Him To Look After Lulu?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Phillips) will continue getting to know each other, and an official first date should be coming soon. Technically, they already had a date. But that was when Lulu was working on a story involving a dating app. As part of a story, set up dates through the app, and that is how she met Dustin.

Lulu and Dustin have gotten closer over the last few months and during an unplanned excursion to a closed down Haunter Star, they kissed. One thing led to another and the two of them made love aboard the boat. Lulu’s friends and family were all for Lulu moving on, but have cautioned her repeatedly about moving too fast.

Even she has acknowledged that this is probably just a rebound fling. But it’s clear that the two of them are very interested in each other. But the truth is, Lulu still doesn’t know very much about him, other than the fact that he teaches high school and moonlights part-time as a rideshare driver. But is that the whole truth?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Didn’t Want To Leave Lulu Spencer

As viewers know, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had no choice but to leave Port Charles and Lulu. He had been brainwashed and had to be taken to a WSB facility for intense deprogramming.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) located Dante in order to bring him home to Lulu, but Dante was still not well and even shot Peter in the shoulder under the influence of the brainwashing. Not long after, Dante sent Lulu divorce papers. It was clear that Dante wasn’t going to get well anytime soon.

At about the same time, Dustin showed up. He and Lulu had great chemistry. Lulu confided in Dustin, and with his help as well as the rest of her family, didn’t contest the divorce. But could the timing of all this be more than just coincidental?

Dante himself arrived in town undercover to take down Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) criminal empire, but eventually that all worked itself out. But perhaps Dante knew how difficult it would be for Lulu to move on so he perhaps he asked Dustin Phillips to be there for Lulu.

It’s possible Dustin’s entire Port Charles existence is a cover, and he has been sent there to protect Lulu. The people who brainwashed Dante could always come back for revenge against Dante’s family. So to keep Lulu safe as well as to help her move on, maybe Dante sent someone to take his place.

If this turns out to be the case, Lulu will be furious. In her mind, if Dante wanted to divorce her, he has no business manipulating the situation no matter how good the intention. And it’s likely she would want nothing more to do with Dustin.
