General Hospital Rumors: Jason Morgan Isn’t The Only One Exiting Soap

General Hospital fans were devasted when Steve Burton confirmed he was leaving the soap and Jason Morgan would exit soon. 

But, is someone else leaving the show WITH him?  The soap rumor mill hints that when the fan fave goes on hiatus, he won’t be the only one leaving Port Charles.  Here’s what’s coming up next on GH, spoilers down below!

Why Is Jason Morgan Leaving Town

A lot of General Hospital speculation on the web is that Jason Morgan heads to Europe to sneak a visit with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and gets caught up in that drama for a few months. 

But, new rumors hint Jason might not be the only character leaving town.  Is he taking Britt Westbourne with him?

Kelly Thiebaud just returned to GH in July  of 2025. Britt Westbourne was killed off in 2023, but it was revealed that her death was faked and she’s been in hiding. 

Jason Morgan has been secretly visiting his long-lost love and rekindling their romance.  But, Britt is basically a hostage because of the medication that she needs to survive. 

Is Britt Westbourne Leaving GH Too?

The last time Jason visited Britt, he vowed to help her figure out a different way to get her meds so she could finally be free and they could live happily ever after.  Maybe Jason’s upcoming exit has nothing to do with Anna Devane and the mental institution. 

Rumors hint Jason and Britt could be leaving town together because they are on the hunt for a new way to get Britt’s life-saving drugs.  

So far Kelly Thiebaud hasn’t made any indication that she is leaving the soap opera, but that doesn’t mean she won’t make an announcement any day.  Do you think Britt Westbourne will leave GH with Jason Morgan?  Will you be sad to see the character go?
