General Hospital Rumors: Why Was The Painting Of Helena Taken Down And Out Of The Trophy Room?

Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers)

General Hospital spoilers tease that the painting of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) that once hung in the trophy room at Wyndemere may have been taken down for a reason; and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may have been aware of the codicil and knew the painting contained clues to its whereabouts!

General Hospital Spoilers – Obviously The Painting Must Have Been Taken Down For A Reason

Obviously the painting must have been taken down for a reason, but if Valentin took it down because he was concerned someone would be snooping around and didn’t want anyone to figure out the clues, he wouldn’t have just left it sitting on the floor with a cover over it! If he were aware of the codicil and that the painting contained clues to its whereabouts, why didn’t he destroy the painting long ago? He’s been in the Wyndemere mansion for three years, that’s been plenty of time!

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Knows That He Is On The Radar Of Jasper Jacks

Valentin knows that he’s on the radar of Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and that he’s after something – and maybe after him! He also knows that during that ill-fated dinner party a few months ago when Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) picked up the wrong drink, that she was caught in the trophy room by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) snooping around! He also saw Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) discussing something with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) several weeks ago at the Metro Court, so he has reason to believe they may try to snoop around Wyndemere as well.

Could he have put it in plain sight as a distraction and possibly installed a bug in either the painting or close to it to capture video of any snoopers? Valentin did go to WSB spy school, he would know how to do spy stuff like that! He’s not dumb enough to be caught unawares!

General Hospital Spoilers – If Valentin Cassadine Is Aware Of The Codicil, He Would Have Either Moved It Or Destroyed It Years Ago

If Valentin is aware of the codicil, chances are he would have either moved it or destroyed it years ago. There’s a good chance that it may even be contained within that conundrum box found in Switzerland a bit over a year ago that is in the hands of the WSB, never having been able to open! Viewers will recall that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) had explained that a conundrum box had to be opened with a code, and if one didn’t figure out the code right it would explode!

If the codicil is not where it was supposed to be according to the clues in the painting that Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) found when he and Laura were in Wyndemere, then the trail of breadcrumbs will lead to nothing! Or will it? Perhaps it will not lead to the codicil, revealing the rightful heir, but could it lead to the heir himself? If someone wanted to fake his death with the help of his uncle, what better place to hide – provided someone hasn’t found him and kidnapped him!

Stay tuned to General Hospital and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!

What I want to know is why the painting of Helena was so horrible/ugly. Constance Towers is a beautiful woman, especially in her spectacular evilness (is that a word?)

Well stela, if it isn’t a word, it needs to be ! Lol Because it fits perfectly….and you’re right, that painting is atrocious. What a disservice to a beautiful woman.
