Carly’s Romantic Question
Carly and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are enjoying an upscale dinner at the Port Charles Grill when Carly presents a romantic question.

He gazes at her thoughtfully as she expresses, “You could experience many evenings like this; you simply need to do one thing!”
Although marriage hasn’t appeared to be a priority for them and hasn’t surfaced in their earlier conversations, could that be what Carly is considering?
Will Carly propose marriage to Valentin, or perhaps invite him to move back into her home?
Such a gesture would represent a significant demonstration of trust for her, and she wouldn’t need to concern herself with residing at Wyndemere!
As Carly’s possible marriage proposal to Valentin raises questions about their future, could this romantic dinner change their relationship forever?

Brook Lynn And Chase’s Divorce Hesitation
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) find themselves in an office with an official for what was supposed to be a swift divorce.
However, the official observes their uncertainty and the affection evident in their expressions, despite having placed the final paperwork before them for signature.
It’s clear he’s detecting their hesitation about truly wanting to end their marriage.
He remarks to them, “If you don’t want to get divorced, there’s still time to change your minds.”
He’s likely more accustomed to intense looks of animosity and thoughts of revenge than to such a cordial dissolution!
So, will they proceed with signing, or perhaps opt for a getaway together instead?
With Brook Lynn and Chase’s divorce already approaching its final stages, this last-minute hesitation could change everything.
Scout And Rocco’s Sad And Serious Conversation
Over in Port Charles, a stern-faced Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) presses a melancholy Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) with questions while they stand in the Quartermaine stables, where a saddle rests visibly on the wall behind them.
With sharp intuition, Scout senses that Rocco is withholding something significant from her.
Rocco’s expression suggests he’s burdened with an uncomfortable truth he’s struggling to articulate, yet Scout refuses to let him escape the conversation!
What could be weighing so heavily on Rocco’s mind?
Whatever it is, the revelation appears destined to cause real pain. Could their clandestine teenage relationship have hit a serious snag?
Drew’s Iffy Proposal
Meanwhile, Drew and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) find themselves in the Metro Court Gardens, where he presents a dubious proposition!
Willow’s alarm bells are ringing as she scrutinizes him and asks pointedly, “What exactly are you proposing?”
Her wariness about Drew’s motives is justified, though interestingly, that same caution cuts both directions given their complicated histories.
Willow remains unaware that Drew orchestrated her mother Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) false accusation in Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) vanishing act.
What kind of chaos might these two create if they join forces?
Curtis’ Terrible News
While Curtis recovers in his hospital room, his attorney Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) delivers devastating news at his doorway.
She informs him that he’s being transferred back to Pentonville the very next day!
Apparently, Monet’s skillful legal maneuvering hasn’t produced the results she anticipated, or at minimum, not within the timeframe she’d envisioned.
Both Monet and Curtis had harbored hopes that he could avoid returning to Pentonville altogether.
Unfortunately, it appears her strategic approach may have produced the opposite effect of what was intended.
As Monet’s earlier strategy to help Curtis avoid Pentonville revealed, she had been exploring ways to strengthen his appeal and improve his chances of staying out of prison.
Will Monet find another way to help Curtis, or is he headed straight back into danger?
Annemarie’s Take
Well, Carly proposing marriage to Valentin would certainly be a surprise! I like their chemistry, but I wouldn’t be rushing to put a ring on that man’s finger. Valentin comes with more baggage than an airport carousel! LOL!
As for Brook Lynn and Chase, I hope Brook Lynn thinks very carefully before giving Chase another chance. He’s been so determined to defend Willow that I’m not convinced he deserves an easy reconciliation.
And Drew making another shady proposal? What else is new? I wouldn’t trust that man to tell me what time it is!
But poor Curtis! After everything he’s been through, sending him back to Pentonville seems especially cruel. I’m hoping Monet has another trick up her sleeve because Curtis deserves a break.
Do you think Carly is ready to propose to Valentin? Should Brook Lynn give Chase another chance, and can Monet save Curtis from returning to Pentonville?
