General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sonya Eddy’s beloved Uncle, Melvin, passed away. The actress, who plays the role of Epiphany Johnson on the daytime soap, took to social media to share the heartbreaking news.

“Uncle Melvin… I’m going to miss the laughter, the teasing, the joking, and mostly your smiles and hugs. Give Dad a hug for me when you see him. Sing some blues together too…” Eddy said in her Instagram post.
