General Hospital spoilers strongly speculate there’s a very good chance that Rena Sofer might leave the show. That’s because her character, Lois, might soon be put in exile for the fact that she hid a family secret for a very long time.

That’s because she was the only person in this fictional town of Port Charles who knew that Gio was actually Brook Lynn and Dante’s son this entire time.
And if there’s anything we’ve learned about the drama on General Hospital over the years, it’s that forgiveness is very hard to come by. And that might be the case here, too.
That’s why many people think Rena Sofer might soon be saying good-bye to her character.
As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about where this storyline is going.
Many viewers took to social media to leave comments such as, “Well, GH got you talking, right? It was a great build up and reveal. It will eventually work out, but it will have a lot of sellout in the meantime.”
What’s Next For Lois?
“Let’s see Michael was hidden from AJ, Sam was given up by Alexis, is this really that much different? They should cut Lois a break and hang Lulu!”
Another fan of the show wrote, “Lois did the best she could at the time. She wanted to keep BLQs baby close by allowing a family member to adopt him. Everything would’ve been fine until the very childish, narcissistic, Lulu, who is bound & determined to hurt BLQ, stuck her nose into business that had nothing to do with her.”
“Who does she think she is? Lulu has a wonderful son, Rocco & a psycho daughter Charlotte. Lulu needs to focus on herself & no one else’s family.”
And then there was this comment as well: “They’ll forgive her in time. What she did was wrong, and she deserves all the heat she’s about to get. However, Lois is overall a sweet character and a good mother, so I’m sure she’ll earn the forgiveness of all her loved ones.”
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

I hope she stays. Sonny is sympathetic. I’d like seeing those two old pals become more. And as others have mentioned , it’s not the first baby secret in PC. She is a fabulous actor and I want to see her continue. Lulu however can leave!
If they kick Lois to the curb and keep that miserable, life ruining. nosey hag Lulu, then they’re idiots… We love Lois! She’s grad. She did the best that she could with what she had to work with.

Lose LuLu! Wow GH writers, you made a real mistake bringing her back to life. You couldn’t even make her kinder and gentler. BIG, BIG ERROR IN JUDGEMENT!!!!
Maybe the reasons were different but Lois did just what Olivia did with Dante! He was much older than Gio when Sonny found out Dante was his son! And I would venture to say that Olivia’s parents kept that secret for her too!

Am I the only one who thinks Lois is to be applauded for what she did? She did exactly what Brooklyn wanted, except it wasn’t a “closed adoption.” But she knew the baby would be loved and cared for, and she could always see to it! She thought she was doing the best thing. Once it was in motion, I can see how it would have been difficult to find a right time to tell anyone. One has to walk in her shoes!
I love Lois so I hope they can find a way to keep her. I also think Lulu is a great actress and hope they can shift her storyline to one that’s not so despicable. Now is an opportunity to soften her character a bit. Tone it down.
I agree with you 100%, they best not get rid of Lois!! I’d rather see Lulu go than Lois, but if these writers can cool down Lulu than I’m willing to give her a chance!! Whatever they decide with Lulu Please don’t have her and Cody become an item!! I would love to see Cody and Molly strike up a relationship!!
Need to get rid of lulu asap
The Lulu now, I don’t like her. She is nothing like the old Lulu. She is more aggressive than the old Lulu. She’s more boyish than the old Lulu. The old Lulu should be the one playing the part, not the one that is here now. Even when the old Lulu was digging for information, at least she was more palatable. This Lulu needs to go.
As a mother , Lois was protecting her daughter who was very young and nieve. She could of told her to abort but instead did what she thought was right at that time. A lot of people still don’t believe in abortion . One thing that she did wrong was keep the secret for to long. But I’m sure with time she will be forgiven.
I agree. Lois is a great actress and adds much to the show. Lula is not likable.
Poor Gio, to be lue to all of his life, even if it was for the right reasoning! Lulu should never have stuck her nose ino it and definitely not confront Lois , at the Nurse’s Ball
The actress playing LULU is doing a great job because the audience hates her. That’s what the role is calling for. I think she is a good actress; maybe too good for her own good in this case!
Honestly, when they brought back LuLu’s character, they brought back a character, in so many ways, isn’t the previous LuLu. The old LuLu was as night is to day in comparison. They need to recast LuLu’s character and bring back the old LuLu. This LuLu has enough going on in her own family to deal with someone else’s family drama. Dante should torch LuLu’s idea of rekindling their once romantic lives. The writer’s should have Dante ending up with someone as good as himself and definitely not this new LuLu character. Like with the recast of Moly and Christina. They went through several characters and finally ended up with 2 ppl
Who actually fit their characters. Why won’t the writers do the same for LuLus character. This new LuLu character should be recasted. The old LuLu was a more gentle soul. The new LuLu is crass, comes across an angry person and definitely doesn’t fit well with any of the other characters. Her motives for blowing up BLQ’s life is what comes across as hatred, fueled by revenge and an unhealthy obsession. The old LuLu would have come across a bit differently. Get rid of the new LuLu…!
Lulu Is out of control it’s over the top. She needs to pay attention to her daughter and I wish they would bring Valentine back. Also, I wish they would bring Dr. Finn back.
On another note, the recast for Michael is the best ever. His looks his expressions, his mannerisms they’re perfect for the part. He’s killing it.!!
Rene Sofer played her part fabulous! She beautiful and a great actress!
Hope she doesn’t leave for good.
