General Hospital Spoiler: AMC’s Walt Willey Is Bringing ‘Jackson Montgomery’ To Port Charles

General Hospital (GH) spoilers state an All My Children (AMC) favorite is heading to Port Charles this summer. Actor Walt Willey who played Jackson Montgomery on AMC will be reprising his role and heading to GH this July.

Both Soap Opera Digest (SOD) and the actor himself (on social media) confirmed that he will have a short stint in Port Charles in the weeks ahead. Walt played Jackson Montgomery on AMC from 1987 to 2011. The actor also played the Jackson role in an ABC crossover called THE CITY in 1996.

As Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) spent some time in Pine Valley, could Jackson’s storyline revolve around her? Only time will tell on the “who, what, where, and how” Montgomery ends up in the little town!

GH Spoilers: How Long Will His Run Be?

While there’s not much information on this, as of this writing, the actor hopped on Twitter to announce that he’s paying Port Charles a visit, playing his old Montgomery character. Walt notes in his tweet that he finally got the “clearance” to announce this, and he’ll have a few episodes on GH, which are airing sometime in mid-July.

Willey reveals that he was excited to reprise his Jackson character, as well as see and work with some old friends. The actor ends the tweet by telling fans he’ll keep them posted on any other details and jokingly adds that “who would’ve thought” Jackson Montgomery would end up in Port Charles. He also encourages fans to let “him and ABC” know what they think!

        I totally agree! I was a huge AMC fan and LOVED Jackson Montgomery (one of the few men that wasn’t totally under Erica Kane’s thumb). So looking forward to seeing Walt on GH!

      Really happy to hear Mr. Willey will be appearing on GH. He’s a talented and believable actor and his character Jackson Montgomery can go in so many directions. Looking forward to his long….and many appearances on General Hospital!

      I can’t continue to watch that Nina person getting away with all she did to Carly and her family. And she’s still doing all this and not getting what deserves. What are you people thinking she needs to go. I’ll be back when she gets what she deserves. Put that family back together where they belong.

      Loved him on All My Children..Can’t wait to see him on GH..But if he’s coming back as a lawyer , that means hes going to be defending someone..Just hope the SEC stroy line is not going to be dragged on thru the summer !! This nonsense has been going on way to long ..
