General Hospital Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Cyrus Renault Will Save Nelle Benson

ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is on the cusp of being caught. Her gig is almost up now that PCPD detective Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard) is on her tail and a random walker has just ID’d her. It looks like Janelle is about to need the sweet-talking Southern lawyer she just fired, but is there someone even higher up on the food chain than Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) who can help her? You bet there is!

According to General Hospital spoilers, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the salvation Nelle needs. She has kidnapped a child and slashed an innocent woman. It would seem that those charges are non-negotiable but there is someone with an in with the police commissioner. Cyrus has commish Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) licking his boots. Will he make her iron his clothes, too? He owns the police force and clearly what he says goes. If he wants Nelle free, it’s a done deal!

#1 Cyrus Renault Hates The Q’s As Much As Nelle Benson Does

Cyrus has taken over control of the hospital board, a territory once owned by the Quartermaine family. They don’t like him, so why should he like them? Nelle is willing to do anything to attack the Q’s, which makes her a very attractive pawn to Cyrus.

#2 Misery Loves Company On ABC General Hospital

Right now it’s a toss-up as to who the town hates more, Nelle Benson or Cyrus Renault. If these two team up they are a doubly formidable force of evil. In other words, they are made for each other, soul mates, two scheming cons with nothing to lose. These two are kindred spirits and misery does love company.

#3 Cyrus Renault Recognizes Talent When He Sees It

Above and beyond all that they loathe in common, Cyrus is a first-class criminal and he knows talent when he sees it. Think about it—Nelle is a female version of Cyrus. Like him, she has no fear and loves to needle her victims. Today Cyrus was in his element lording over Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) taking her to task about HIPPA. She put up a brave front but he got to her and they both knew it. Besides being a royal pain, Nelle has a real talent for being bad.

She is someone Cyrus could use to the great advantage and he will if the writing on the prison walls is any indication!
