ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal there are and have always been, one of the most important, the most celebrated, and if not also the most loved couple in this fictional town of Port Charles, but unfortunately they’ve never really been given an opportunity to live ‘Happily Ever After’ as the saying goes.

Of course, we are talking about General Hospital’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). While the couple has always had a “push and pull” relationship, fans want to see them together, forever, and until eternity. In other words, they need and definitely deserve a real wedding in Port Charles. With that said, we have three reasons why it needs to happen, and sooner rather than later, too.

#1 Not Just Another Courthouse Wedding

Fans don’t want to see Jason and Sam marry on the down-low. They want the same kind of pomp and circumstance that Luke and Laura got so many years ago. That, and all the drama to boot, too. With Sam’s very manipulative former parole officer out of the picture, there’s a chance that Sam and Jason can finally be happy together. But if there’s one thing that we’ve learned about this couple over the years, it’s that while the spark between them most always certainly lasts, someone will end up doing something to aggravate the other. While Jason would definitely make a great (and very sexy husband), their relationship sometimes resembles that of a daddy and daughter one, too. Jason is always having to put her in her place.

With everything that has been going on in the world lately, it’s without a doubt that fans want something to look forward to. Many would agree that daytime television has always been ‘comfort television’ for soap fans and with everything going on in the world right now, a joyous occasion like a wedding would give fans exactly what they need.
