General Hospital Spoilers: 3 Things To Know About GH Anna Devane's Sister Alex Marick

ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that super spy Anna Devane has a twin named Alex Marick. Both characters are played by the uber-talented Finola Hughes and while Anna is a Port Chuck regular Alex has had her day and may again soon as fans are debating which twin is actually the mother of criminal minded Peter August (Wes Ramsay).

With that in mind here are three things you need to know about Alex Marick.

#1 Alex Marick Is A Throwback To The Last Century

Alex debuted on All My Children in 1999. She is a neurosurgeon who was married to Dimitri Marick (Michael Nader). After Dmitri died Alex fell in love with his brother Edmund Grey (John Callahan) and together they discovered that she had a twin sister she never knew about and had actually been brainwashed into thinking she was Anna.

At one point Dmitri came back to life and he and Edmund had to track down Alex who was off in Canada saving Anna’s life.

#2 Alex Marick Has Another Secret Sibling Named Gabriel

Eventually, Alex and Anna were shocked to learn that they had yet another surprise sibling. His name was Gabriel, their half brother, and he had been tasked with killing Anna just as Alex had been. Alex and Dimitri left town in 2001.

#3 Alex Marick Is A Master At Disguise Who Can’t Be Trusted

But in 2017 it was discovered that Anna was really Alex in disguise (not too much though!). It was a relief to GH fans as Alex had been getting up to some sinister shenanigans.

Eventually, Anna got rid of Alex but a sticky situation arose when it was learned Dr. Cabot experimented on them, doing memory switches.

Anna worried that she wasn’t in fact Robin Scorpio’s (Kimberly McCullough) mother but she later found proof that she is.

Now there is a question as to who is Peter August’s real mom. Alex recently contacted Anna saying she wants to come in from the cold and fans are curious if she will come back and be shown to be Peter’s mom. This would solve a huge dilemma as Peter is a first-rate cad and a scoundrel.

Anna has been defending him of course because he’s her son. But she has compromised her ethics in so doing, and her loved ones want it to stop.

Will Alex turn out to be the real mom, saving Anna from having to ruin her life to save Peter’s?
