ABC General Hospital spoilers indicate that Port Charles is in need of a miracle, and it’s not the kind that Spinelli can whip up in a matter of seconds. With ratings slowly but surely headed towards a downward spiral, here are three ways that General Hospital writers can turn that around.
#1 Give Carly Corinthos A Hot, Salacious Affair
Yes, everyone loves to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) together. They are certainly a rock-solid couple. But at the same time, Sonny is certainly not giving Carly the attention she deserves while there are two men in Port Charles that are waiting in the wings for her: both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Jasper Jacks. (Ingo Rademacher) The moment Carly pulls the plug on her marriage to Sonny, both Jason and Jax will be waiting in the wings for her and fans want to see it.
#2 Stop Dragging Out The Nelle Storyline
Elsewhere, General Hospital fans have made it pretty clear that they are just as tired of the Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) storyline as everyone else. We know that she is going to grab Wiley and take the next train out of Port Charles, so let her just do it already. Also, someone needs to let Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) be a man and take decisive action on his own. He’s someone who always ends up in the wrong relationships with the wrong people, with his mother Carly doing all of the damage control and work for him.
#3 Three Words: Bring Back Drew Cain
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that ratings for General Hospital would certainly turn around if the writers decided to bring Drew Cain (Billy Miller) back. Even if actor Billy Miller is unavailable, the character could always be recast to someone else. Plus, the moment that Billy comes back, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will finally realize what she’s been missing out on and she drops the back-and-forth shenanigans with Jason Morgan.

Add a little sexual tension in the air and you’ve got the kind of scene that General Hospital fans have been longing for. With that said, Jason can finally move on and pursue Carly, making his secret dreams a reality. Ratings will then hit the roof within no time.

Jason and Carly are more like sister and brother. Jaxs would be a good replacement for Sonny but we've been there before. Sonny and Carly have married and re-married too many times. Leave them alone. Kill off Nelle. She's tiresome.
Please end this story line. Willow needs to hook up with Michael to get rid of this baby storyline too. Keep Mike alive ~ love this storyline with Sonny. Like bipolar was with his son this is a current issue in many families. New men are needed on the show to stir it up for the ladies. Dante will give it a boost so get him back to town soon. Getting boring ~ needs a face lift ASAP!
Stupid who come up with these crazy idea Carly and Sonny belong together. Sam and Jason belong together. Nelle need to go.Michael and willow belong together. What that all about Nelle and Shiloh back in Port Charles have the wright lost it .GH have enough problem to solve like Drug Lord just saying his name make me sick O do not let me get start Peter he need to go paid for all the bad things he did and bring that Orbrech back she fun .Valentine need to lost every thing also his daughter he is evil Nina and Jack are good together she need a man like Jack in her life. Eva and Todd are good for each other both are bad to the bones i remember him as Todd .Enough about Nelle she need to stay dead enough.
You could have Carly have an affair but ui love them two together and this is their 10th marriage, let it stick. The Nell store can end and you can bring back Drew. Do those two. Leave sonny and Carly alone.
Only bring Drew back if it is Billy. Jasam are so yesterday. They aren’t bringing in any ratings. Sam had to be totally regressed to be with him. The character of Jason would make changes if he loved Sam as much as he loves himself.
I have always seen Jason/Carly as sister/brother, or best friends.. Agree with the above post just leave Sonny/Carly alone. Writers have been separating too many couples that were good together for the sake of not too interesting story lines.
In my opinion all pairings are boring – writers aren't writing them as very loving or showing loving emotions toward one another. I don't see whereby Jason loves himself more than Sam. The two have been put on a course that does not lead to family as each have been involved in more separate story lines than together.
The writing very bad. The writers are lazy. They can do much more with the character. They just drag the story each day with nothing really happening. Also, I think the writers are male. The women characters use to string now they are all week and needy.
Also some characters such as Sam needs to be Replaced are given a complete new storyline without jason.
Nelle is great. She brings spark to to show.

This is so out of character! Did you ever watch GH ! Your three things were totally off key. Three things would be better to raise the ratings could/should be…. 1) Cyrus battles with the PC mob war and Julian gets into it to try to protect people he cares about AKA Lucas, and ends up siding with Jason and Sonny. More action included
2) Nina finds out that Willow is her daughter and Nelle stole the necklace from Willow because she thought it would bring her good luck. But Willow is her daughter and Willow can’t get over how awful Nina was to her over Charlotte
3) maxie finds out the truth about Peter and kicks him to the curve but she has to go away to get her head together so she finds Drew by accident and they bond and Drew becomes her new love. But Peter fights back without a hope to win her over.
Yes, the Same old Nicholas/ Ava crap will go on. Alexus will fall back to drinking but Julian will save her from her destructive ways. The kids can get hooked on Cyrus’ drugs, they are too perfect…. There has to be more excitement… love, war, excitement!!! There has to be more here. Let Ned fight Robert over Olivia…. come on writers… this is the icon of daytime!!!!!
