General Hospital Spoilers: Alex Puts Violet In Danger – Finn Ends Engagement To Anna To Save Daughter?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, New York Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may be making a major life decision soon. As GH viewers know, Finn is happy with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but in all things, his daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) comes first.

Finn’s a loving dad, and a while back he and Violet left Anna’s house when things were looking too dangerous because of Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Clearly, Finn is willing to bolt if things with Anna get too dangerous for his daughter.

Well, as last week came to a close, Anna (Finola Hughes) was attacked in her home by Alex Devane Marick and moved to the basement where she’s currently unconscious. Luckily, this happened when Violet was out trick-or-treating with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but still, the whole situation going forward is going to put Violet in harm’s way. It’s certainly looking like Alex will end up impersonating Anna for a time, and that will leave Violet interacting with Anna’s evil twin!

General Hospital Spoilers Insights

It remains to be seen how long Alex’s impersonation of Anna will go on, but clearly, Alex has an agenda here. Alex likely wants to interact with her son Peter, and she may want to meet Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) since Maxie is carrying her grandchild. Who knows – Alex may even want to make her presence known to Peter and try to form a mother/son bond.

Whatever the case, eventually Anna will break free from captivity and she’ll be reunited with Finn. But something tells us that Finn may not take well to the news that he and Violet were interacting with Alex rather than Anna for all that time. Finn will probably freak out, and it will be yet another instance of how Anna’s life and the people in it are putting Finn and his daughter directly in harm’s way.

One wonders whether Finn and Violet will end up staying in Anna’s house after the whole Alex switcheroo comes to light. Finn will probably feel like Anna’s world is just too dangerous for Violet to be a part of, plus once he finds out that Peter is evil Alex’s son, his fears about Peter being in Violet’s life will probably be renewed. It’s possible that Finn will say that he just can’t expose Violet to that kind of danger going forward.

So, will Anna and Finn ever end up tying the knot? We have a feeling that once the Alex situation unfolds and it becomes known that Peter is Alex’s son, Finn might do some quick rethinking about this wedding. Finn could tell Anna that despite loving her, he just can’t have Violet present in her world because it’s too treacherous!
