General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that in Port Charles, NY Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has finally accepted Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) as his mother. The two of them had a rocky start and Peter had planned to killed Anna at one point. But despite that dangerous beginning, Anna and Peter have become quite close in recent months.
The only problem is that Anna isn’t really Peter’s mother. Thanks to the memory mapping experiment, Anna’s memories of giving birth to Peter really belong to her twin sister Alex DeVane (also Finola Hughes). Anna has suspected the truth for a while but recently got confirmation.

Anna (Finola Hughes) wasn’t happy to find out the truth but realized that Peter (Wes Ramsey) deserved to know the truth. But before she could do anything with the information, Alex showed up and took her sister’s place, locking Anna in the basement of her home. While Alex’s endgame is still a mystery, it seems very likely that she plans to clue Peter in herself. But how will Peter react?
Cesar Faison And Alex DeVane Together!
With Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Alex as his parents, Peter may likely believe that he has no chance of turning his life around. He’s currently engaged to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) who is pregnant with his child. This has given Peter hope that he can build a good life. But discovering that both of his parents are criminals may change Peter’s perspective. He may believe that he is doomed to follow in their criminal behavior for his entire life.
Alex DeVane Tries To Recruit Alex DeVane
Alex has decided to try to get Peter to give up trying to be a better man. As it is, his criminal past is on the verge of being exposed. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are all working to expose Peter’s previous crimes. Peter has been diligent in covering his tracks, and in the process, he killed Drew Cain (Billy Miller). Perhaps Alex will offer Peter her assistance if he leaves Maxie and embraces his criminal tendencies!

I hope that Peter will completely turn his back on Alex like she completely turned her back on him all of his life. It is really sad that Alex is now going to be Peter's mother. Anna and Peter have a good strong relationship that has taken years to form. Anna has been the one to help Peter and be there for him. It is also sad that Anna and Valentin are not Peter's parents because they are the ones that really love him. It would have been great to have Valentin and Peter be father and son. Then Peter and Charlotte could be brother and sister too. It would have even been better for Anna and Robert to be Peter's real parents for different reasons. I have no idea why it is so important for Faison to be Peter's father. Peter may have a dark side but will never be as dark as Faison or Alex. It does not matter if a person has bad parents because they can be a better person than there parents. Peter can overcome this situation to become a better person. Peter does not need Alex in his life especially with Maxie, James, Georgie, and the baby. I hope that Peter and Anna will continue to bond because their relationship is real. Peter can continue hold on to Anna and Valentin to help him deal with his current situation. I hope that Alex will not cause too much trouble for Anna, Peter, Maxie, the baby, and others. I hope that she goes away for good or gets killed. I hope that this horrible situation with Peter can be fixed in a positive way in the end.
