Now that she knows the truth about why Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flannigan) died, perhaps Alexis can finally but it behind her and even try a new romance. She is extremely cautious because she hasn’t had the best track record with men, but now that Alexis has come out of her ordeal a different person, perhaps she will approach romance in a healthier way as well. But there are other reasons that Alexis and Gregory might deny their attraction to one another!

It wasn’t all that long ago that Alexis was dating Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who just so happens to be Gregory’s son. Gregory and Finn have already shared one woman and that situation kept Finn from his family for decades. Finn was in love with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) but couldn’t commit to it so she started dating Gregory and then married him. Finn resented them both for years because of it. So, the fact that Alexis and Finn were once together might stop Gregory from pursuing a romance. But the truth is that Finn and Alexis ended things a long time ago because they realized they saw each other as friends, not lovers. Hopefully, this won’t stop Alexis and Gregory from getting to know each other and end a possible amazing romance before it even begins.
