General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis’ Attack On Dante Removes His Programming?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may have finally hit rock bottom. Her alcoholism has been out of control for quite awhile now. Even being framed for drunk driving by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) didn’t make Alexis even think about getting sober. But an incident at General Hospital may finally give Alexis the push she needs to stop drinking. During an argument between her daughter Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) rushed to attack Franco with a syringe loaded with an unknown drug. But at the last moment, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) stepped between Alexis and Franco. In the heat of the moment, Alexis injected Dante who collapsed.

Luckily, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) was close by and had Dante rushed to the OR. Dante will most likely survive whatever he was injected with, but there may actually be a side effect to whole ordeal that may be extremely beneficial to Dante. As viewers know, Dante was suffering from PTSD from an undercover mission awhile back and it seems as though, he may have been programmed as a result. More recently, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) has used Dante’s programming, which can be activated by the sound of a clicking pen, to help her in her personal mission to take Peter August (Wes Ramsey) down. In fact, Leisl had programmed Dante to protect Franco at all costs, which is why he stepped in front of Alexis.

GH Spoilers – What If The Drugs He Was Injected With Removes Dante Falconeri’s Programming?

It seems quite possible, even likely, that the trauma from his injection might finally end Dante’s programming, meaning that neither Leisl nor anyone else, will be able to control Dante any longer. And while this may ruin Leisl’s plans for Peter, perhaps Dante can finally get his life back. His ex-wife, Lulu Falconeri (Emmy Rylan) recently was recently severely injured during the explosion at the Floating Rib, and suffered extensive brain injuries from she may never recover. Lulu has been shipped off to a long-term care facility so Dante has been left alone to care for his family.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis May Unintentionally Saved Dante Falconeri!

So while Alexis’ attack deserves to be punished however the law sees fit, she may have unintentionally helped Dante in a huge way. Alexis was only trying to save Sam from she believed was an attack by Franco, so perhaps the law will show a bit of mercy. But at the very least, this incident should be exactly what Alexis needs to stop drinking and get her life back. And in doing so, she may have given Dante his back as well.
