Ric Lansing Told Alexis Last Week Through A Message From Sonny, Danny Wants In The Mob
Last week, Sonny had sent Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) over to Alexis with a message, and Ric informed her that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) wanted to be in the mob and channel his father!
This was shortly after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was taken away by the WSB after “confessing” to Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting, although before that Cullum had already issued a warrant.
Danny’s reason was to help his father, to get him back from the WSB-like that would help any at all, Danny thinking maybe they kidnapped him!

When Ric told Alexis, she was so shocked she nearly fainted, falling backwards on her couch!
Danny was showing signs of trouble even before Jason got arrested-getting in fights at school, and getting suspended, and Alexis was already frustrated.
Alexis Responds To The Situation A Few Days Later, Dropping In On Sonny
Another thing to consider is that Danny was with Alexis when Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) was found stabbed in the offices of Miller and Davis; Danny stepped right up.
He tried to stop the bleeding as Alexis called 911, and if he was scared, he sure didn’t show it-this was on the same day as there was an arrest attempt of Jason at the ballfield.

Finding a stabbing victim who he’d learn didn’t make it had to have some kind of effect on Danny, whether he let it show or not.
Unlike the much more sensitive Rocco Falconeri, (Finn Carr) it’s plain that Danny’s trying to be “Stone Cold Jr.” With Jason gone, and no one sure where he is or if he’ll ever come back, the third time in Danny’s young life, Alexis goes for help to Sonny.
Sonny Has No Intention Of Letting Danny Fill In For Jason, And He Has A Better Idea!
Sonny listens to what Alexis has to say, and some ideas she has to help-and control-Danny better, but he has a better idea.
Danny isn’t going to be helped by clamping down and controlling him, he’s just going to rebel and things will get worse.
Danny’s problem is that he feels helpless to do anything to help his dad, and he thinks joining the mob might help-but it won’t.
They have to find something to occupy Danny that he can do that makes him feel like he’s helping his father, but in a non-violent way. Sonny and Alexis will sit down and brainstorm.
