General Hospital spoilers indicate that much has been said about Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havans) transplant surgery. Lulu isn’t expected to survive, but Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) talked Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawindi Wilson) into performing the difficult surgery to give Lulu a fighting chance.

And it looks like Isaiah will indeed perform a bit of a miracle and Lulu will not only live but will also finally wake up from her coma. But her donor, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) won’t be quite as fortunate.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lucas Jones Is Sam McCall’s Surgeon
Sam’s surgery has been said to be much more routine than Lulu’s side of it. She insisted that her half-brother Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
Although it goes against hospital policy, Sam insisted that Lucas be the one to perform the surgery, so Sam agreed to sign whatever waiver that General Hospital required in order to make that happen. Lucas agreed to Sam’s request but he’s about to enter into a nightmare scenario.

While the exact circumstances of Sam’s death still have to play out, she could face complications in the OR. If Sam does indeed die on the operating table, Lucas will face a lifetime of guilt.
He will certainly replay the surgery over and over again in his head, wondering if he could have done something differently.
There’s also a chance that someone will tamper with Sam’s IV after the surgery is complete. But that may not be revealed right away, so Lucas may still have to deal with his own guilt until the truth comes out.
General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Will Suffer Her Worst Nightmare
The longer it takes for Sam to wake up, the more panicked her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will become. Lucas may have the impossible task of informing Alexis that Sam had died.
Sam’s death will be a devastating blow to Alexis, who will certainly struggle to understand what happened to her daughter.
She may even blame Lucas, citing the fact that it’s a conflict of interest for him to have been anywhere near Sam’s surgery. Regardless, Alexis is about to face her worst nightmare in the coming days.
