Alexis’ ex-husband, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) is always around. Alexis starting drinking because of the abuse she was exposed to while married to Julian. Julian forced Alexis to defend him. Julian tried to make Alexis confess to murder. Julian tried to kill Alexis with the dagger that her mother was killed with. Julian and Alexis’ daughter, Sam, and their granddaughter was almost killed because of Julian.

Alexis and Julian were a hot couple before all of this happened. However, Julian’s abuse ruined their relation and almost ruined Alexis’s life. Has Julian changed? Considering he helped keep Wiley Corinthos (Theo and Eric Olson) from his family for over a year, that isn’t likely. Alexis deserves better.

General Hospital’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was thought to be Alexis’ brother. However, if Valentin is Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) son instead of Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos), he and Alexis’ aren’t related. Perhaps helping Alexis is why there was some talk months ago about Alexis and Valentin sleeping together.
