General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Turns To Neil For Help – Can Dr. Byrne Save Kristina?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be meeting with Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) this week on General Hospital. The main thing on Alexis’ mind will probably be if he thinks he can get through to her cult-brainwashed daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).

Alexis, Kristina’s father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and brother Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thought they were getting somewhere until Kristina got tired of the “negative talk” against Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Dawn of Day, and shut down!

General Hospital Spoilers – Can Anyone Get Through To Kristina?

As General Hospital viewers (and her family!) know, Kristina is very stubborn. She has gone against the advice of family and friends and gone her own way and made some horrendous decisions that brought her and everyone who loves her a lot of problems and pain, and yet she never learns from her mistakes. She just tries another thing after another that “doesn’t work”. She thinks the cult is working, but she has very low self-esteem, and if Kristina never learns to love and accept herself, she won’t think anyone else does either!

Other General Hospital spoilers tease that Kristina may also suffer from bipolar disorder, which may be a failure of her parents in not recognizing the possible symptoms, especially Sonny, not realizing that it can look different in females than in males.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Byrne Helps Alexis

Dr. Byrne had previously warned both Alexis and Sonny that if they pushed Kristina too hard, that she would shut down; and that is exactly what she did! He also warned that she might dig her heels into the cult even deeper and that is also a good possibility. He had also warned Sonny that kidnapping her out of the cult against her will was the worst thing he could do, but Sonny did it anyway, obviously thinking that his way was better!

General Hospital viewers should think that sounds familiar; that’s what Kristina does too, goes her own way against advice because she thinks her way is better!

Dr. Byrne will acknowledge that perhaps with more time away from the cult and Shiloh’s teachings, Kristina may start to become more objective and begin to realize that she’s not the one in control of herself and her thoughts and even her actions at times, Shiloh is. Kristina should ultimately rebel against that control and come to her senses!
