General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that newer viewers might want to know a little more about the cuckoo bird named Heather Webber (Alley Mills) who reappeared in Port Charles recently. Here’s everything you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers – There Have Been Four Actresses
There have been four actresses who have played Heather, whose maiden name was Heather Grant since the character’s introduction in 1976. Heather One was Georganne LaPiere, the younger sister of pop icon Cher, of Sonny and Cher fame. The second, taking over in 1977, was Mary O’Brien. Heather Three is probably the best known, Robin Mattson who started in 1980 and reappeared throughout the eighties and last appearing in 2016.
Alley Mills took over the role just recently in 2022, with her predecessor being unavailable due to two recent operations. Alley also played Pam Douglas on the CBS daytime drama “The Bold and The Beautiful”.
GH Spoilers – Heather Webber’s First Child
Heather has been married three times, the first being to a Larry Joe Baker (Hunter von Leer) prior to 1977. Her next marriage, which only lasted a bit less than four years, to Jeff Webber (now William R. Moses) with whom she had her older son, Steve Webber (Scott Reeves). She didn’t tell Jeff she was pregnant because he refused to leave his first wife, Monica Webber, now Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). She soon gave their son, who she named Stephen Lars to a couple who worked at GH, Dr. Peter Taylor and Nurse Diana Taylor (Craig Huebing, Brooke Bundy). She managed to get a job as their nanny, and after Peter died and Heather accidentally ingested LSD meant for Diana, Jeff moved away with Stephen Lars.
General Hospital Spoilers – Birth Of Franco Baldwin, Second Marriage
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) birth mother was Susan Moore, (Gail Ramsey) who was Heather’s first cousin. Through a convoluted arrangement, the twins were split up and Heather’s own second son, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Drew were given to Nurse Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) to raise. Viewers who have watched the past six or so years know that story already, but Heather unbelievably managed to marry Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) in 2004.
That didn’t last long and Heather wasn’t able to knock Edward off for his money, and it’s something the Quartermaines would rather forget. She bounced in and out of mental health facilities and prison throughout the years, much of the time in the mental health facilities stemming from the effects of the LSD.
