General Hospital Spoilers – Maurice Benard Confirms Sonny Corinthos Will Not Be Happy With Carly Corinthos

Even though Sonny’s return may not play out on General Hospital for several more weeks or months, Maurice confirmed in a recent interview that he will not be happy with Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) decision to marry Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) even if it was for “business reasons”. Maurice noted in the interview that he plays Sonny betrayed very well and Sonny will take Carly’s decision as a betrayal. General Hospital viewers can predict that he won’t be happy with Jason either. Betrayal by his wife and his best friend, even if he as “Mike” is in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and he may retain those feelings and memories, may be too much for Sonny to take at once. Maurice describes Sonny’s regaining of his memories and his return to Port Charles as all hell breaking loose!

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Would Feel Betrayed By Nina Reeves As Well

General Hospital viewers can imagine that Sonny would feel betrayed by Nina as well, after her keeping his identity a secret from him for so many months! General Hospital viewers must take into account that all these months, Nina knew that “Mike” had a wife and family waiting for him back in Port Charles, even if Carly moved quickly to have him declared dead. This also was for “business reasons” as General Hospital viewers will recall. Nina was going to tell Carly about her finding an amnesiac Sonny in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania all those months ago, but Carly turned Nina’s phone call into a big argument so Nina decided not to tell her! Nina figured Carly wouldn’t believe her anyway and would just brush her information off as another lie – after all, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. In Carly’s opinion, Nina is just another lying liar who lies like her late daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)! That won’t matter to Sonny, although he may not be able to shake his feelings for Nina.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Betrayed Sonny Corinthos Is An Angry Sonny Corinthos

General Hospital viewers know that a betrayed Sonny Corinthos is an angry Sonny Corinthos, and he’s going to act out! Whether he starts throwing barware and glasses at the Metro Court and tears up Carly’s hotel restaurant, or whether he takes out his anger in another way in future episodes of General Hospital, he is going to be furious! Sonny may not act out as violently as he would have had Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) not recognized his bipolar disorder and gotten him back on his medications but you can bet that there will be fireworks! He will feel betrayed all around, by Jason, Carly, and Nina all at the same time although Nina may be able to explain her reasoning for keeping his past a secret to him and he may be somewhat understanding with her. Either way, there will be fireworks and Maurice teases it will be a good show!
