General Hospital Spoilers – Briana Lane Fills In

GH spoilers reveal that in August 2020, Setton took a break from the long-running ABC soap. At the time, fans learned she was pregnant with her third child. It was also a time when COVID-19 created a risk for the actress. She explained her exit to Soap Opera Digest and assured everyone that it was just temporary.

“Despite being really excited and eager to jump back into GH, due to the many unknowns with Covid and expectant mothers, it was advised for us to wait it out.”

Lane ended up being cast to fill in for Setton and her last appearance was in November 2020. She did a fantastic job, but now it’s time for Setton to take back the role.

GH Spoilers – Amanda Setton’s Return

In the new issue of SOD, it is stated that Setton returns at the end of the month. Now, some are misunderstanding this as her coming back in February. However, magazine issues are dated ahead. For example, the March 1 issue of SOD was released on February 19. So while we are reading the magazine in February, it is written as if it were March. So, Setton isn’t returning this month, it will be sometime in March.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that when Lane was preparing for her exit, fans saw Brook Lynn reach in her purse and take out a pregnancy test. Right before that, she had a conversation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). So, we have to assume that we are going to learn more about this pregnancy test. It was teased during the 2021 preview that Brook’s pregnancy was mentioned. So, it seems highly likely that the character is expecting.

GH Spoilers – Lots Of Possibilities

There are a lot of different directions this storyline could go. For example, will she tell Valentin that she is pregnant with his baby? Will she lie and claim it belongs to someone else? How will her family react to the baby bombshell, especially her father, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)? With soaps, shocking bombshells usually go hand in hand with secrets and lies. There should be some twists and turns along the way, too. So it should be interesting to see what happens with Brook Lynn.
