GH General Hospital spoilers and recap for Friday, August 7, 2020, reveals Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) stops by to see her doctor who is detained. Maxie says maybe she doesn’t need a doctor. Maxie tells the nurse she needs a pregnancy test.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Gets Her Test Results

Maxie says she needs to get back to work. Maxie asks if the nurse is going to be quiet, she can’t have this getting around. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) asks what she can’t let get around. Maxie tries to deflect, Lulu continues to push. Maxie has the blood test done. Maxie tells Lulu she took three pregnancy tests and they were all positive. Maxie has issues admitting that she’s pregnant.

Maxie is nervous over telling Peter about the baby. Lulu tries to reassure Maxie. Lulu tells Maxie her family will be over the moon. Lulu asks why her feelings are so complicated about this pregnancy. Maxie says the timing could not be worse. Maxie asks about her career. Maxie feels selfish. The nurse returns with Maxie’s results.

Gh Spoilers – Anna Devane Defends Peter August

General Hospital’s Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) meet for dinner. Peter tells Anna he and Maxie are coming to the wedding. Peter doesn’t want to sit next to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) at the wedding. Robert arrives and Peter tries to leave. Robert pushes him back into his chair and demands to know why he wrote this article. Peter says he wrote it himself. Peter says it’s a hatchet job.

Robert reads it to Anna who defends Peter. Peter says he will have his editor revise it. Anna asks what happened to the truce Robert promises. Anna says it’s pathetic that Robert looks for reasons to hate Peter. Anna continues to defend Peter. Anna says Peter gave Robert a gift and he threw it in his face.

Anna accuses Robert of not dealing with his feelings. Anna tells Robert he is afraid of his feelings and ashamed that he didn’t end things well with Holly. Anna suggests Robert go to Holly’s memorial. Anna tells Robert he is fixated on thinking that Holly is still alive. Anna tells Robert to stop directing his anger toward Peter. Anna says Holly would be appalled at his behavior.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson And Hamilton Finn Bond

General Hospital’s Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) talk about their kids. Finn shows Portia a text from his daughter. Finn asks Portia if her daughter is a mama’s girl. Portia tells Finn she’s a daddy’s girl. Portia suggests that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) might resent Anna for not being her real mother. Portia hopes that she hasn’t offended Finn. Finn has thought about all of this. Portia says Violet should be happy and well adjusted. Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) interrupts and informs them a patient is coming in and it’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

GH Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Searches For Jordan Ashford

General Hospital’s Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) asks Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) if he ever caught up with the commissioner. Chase tells Curtis she was talking to Jason earlier. Chase says they know Jason blew up Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) warehouse. Chase suggests Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) is trying to find information on Cyrus. Curtis comes upon Jason on Harborview Drive and calls for help. Chase wants accident photos and tells the officers not to move anything.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Responsible For Jason Morgan’s Accident

Meanwhile, General Hospital’s Jordan is at Cyrus’ home receiving orders to take of Laura Collins (Genie Frances). Jordan tells Cyrus he cannot get the hospital board to dispute Laura’s word against him. Jordan refuses to speak out in defense of Cyrus. Jordan says Laura could fire her. Jordan tells Cyrus the Quartermaine’s have pulled GH back from the brink before. Jordan gets a call about Jason and leaves. Cyrus knows Jordan is plotting against him. Now there is nothing between Sonny and a bullet between his eyes. Curtis tells Jordan he found Jason. Cyrus toasts to the end of Jason.

GH Spoilers – Brando Corbin Talks To Sonny Corinthos About Mike Corbin

General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) shows up at the garage, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) tells Sonny he just missed Jason. Sonny asks if Jason is a customer, Brando says yes. Sonny is there about Mike Corbin (Max Gail). Sonny tells Brando the end is near. Sonny tells Brando what the options were and tells him he chose not to have a feeding tube placed in Mike.

Brando talks about Mike taking him to the racetrack when he was younger. Brando talks about a horse named Smokey that had to be put down. Mike asked Brando if he loved that horse. Brando says he stayed with the horse until he died. Brando tells Sonny that Mike will understand whatever choice he makes. Carly calls Sonny and tells him about Jason’s accident.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Learns About The Accident

General Hospital’s Sam McCall (Lindsey Hartley) is furious that Peter is still free. Sam says there are two reasons why some people get a free pass. Sam tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that Peter framed Leisl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Carly defends Peter but Sam brings up Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and asks what about him, why is Anna still defending Peter.

Carly approaches Peter and threatens him in a roundabout way. Curtis calls Sam and tells her about Jason’s accident. Carly and Sam arrive and speak to Curtis. Sam speaks to Liz about Jason. Carly calls Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to make sure the paperwork has been filed. Sam wants to see Jason but she isn’t allowed. Peter approaches Sam who goes off on him.

Carly tells Peter he needs to leave. Sonny arrives and asks how Jason is. Maxie and Lulu come off the elevator. Maxie wants to check on Sam, Peter tries to stop her. Maxie lies and says she’s doing nurse’s ball stuff. Finn wants to do exploratory surgery and Carly orders Finn to save him.
