General Hospital Spoilers and Recap Thursday, April 2: Ava Comforts Trina, Molly Demands Answers About TJ

Welcome to your Thursday April 2nd General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at General Hospital (GH) where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is helping his dad Mike Corbin (Max Gail) walk. Mike asks what his name is as they run into Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) who he thinks is dead.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) secretly meets up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and tells him that her plan to get dirt on her parole officer failed terribly.

At the Jerome Gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is on the phone when a very distraught Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) comes in. Trina tells Ava that according to the police commissioner, her dad Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) framed Cyrus Renault.

General Hospital Spoilers: Molly is panicked and demands answers

At Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford’s (Brianne Nicole Henry) apartment, Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) busts in and demands answers about TJ. Curtis and Jordan tell Molly that TJ leaving – is out of all their hands. Jordan tells Molly that she can get him a message but she has no guarantees.

Jordan calls Molly a brat and she needs to grow up and go away. Jordan continues to scream at Molly as she says she pushed TJ away, its all her fault.

General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin has a meeting with Cyrus Renault

At Pentonville Prison, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) meets with Cyrus Renault who is happy to get out of solitary confinement. Kevin explains that he is a psychiatrist and they should talk. Cyrus is not happy that Kevin is grilling him and wonders what the fascination with him is.

Kevin feels threatened, as Cyrus “plays chess” with their conversation. Cyrus recognizes that Laura is Kevin’s wife.

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Spencer is furious that Renault may walk free

At the PCPD, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) finishes a phone call as Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) approaches and wants answers. She is furious that Cyrus may walk free once the new evidence is presented. Laura has a plan to deal with Renault, she has Mac looking for evidence of the shootings.

General Hospital Spoilers: Mike is confused and angry at everyone

At General Hospital (GH) Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) tries to calm down his father Mike who is very upset. Brando makes up a lie about spending time at the racetracks with him when he was a kid. Mike says he has no idea who Brando and Carly are, he needs security to follow them.

General Hospital Spoilers: Trina cannot fathom that her dad was a criminal

At the Jerome Gallery, Trina explains to Ava about the accusations against her father. Ava thinks there is no way a huge criminal like Cyrus may walk free. Trina tells Ava that her dad was always her hero no matter what they say.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam and Jason meet in secret

Jason tells Sam that she needs to be very careful as the parole officer is watching her. He also explains that Cyrus Renault is on the warpath against Sonny.

Thursday Excitement!

Ava comforts Trina and tells her that she is special and her dads legacy – they embrace.

Laura and Kevin think they have a plan to trap Cyrus with a mental evaluation.
