General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors suggest that in Port Charles, NY Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) shaking hands are a huge hint that she has inherited her father’s Huntington’s Disease. Britt’s condition seems to be getting worse and she may turn to her boss for help. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is no stranger to Illegal drugs and for the right price, he may be willing to help Britt.
General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Needs Help
General Hospital’s Britt cannot perform her duties as chief of staff if she cannot trust her hands. Britt’s hands aren’t steady enough for her to do any medical procedures. Britt could easily be charged with malpractice if anyone in her care dies. There is no known cure for Huntington’s Disease at this time. However, there could be an experimental treatment available and Cyrus could have access.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Needs Someone To Look The Other Way
General Hospital’s Cyrus Renault wants to have a new pain medication made at General Hospital. However, Britt has fought that until now. Unfortunately for Britt, this could give Cyrus a huge weapon to use against her. Cyrus is at the hospital all that time and frequently speaks to Britt about hospital matters. It is very likely that Cyrus will notice Britt’s hands shaking at some point and may accuse her of being a drug addict. Of course, at this point, Britt would have to explain her Huntington’s Disease and Cyrus will probably propose a deal. Cyrus could easily suggest an experimental treatment but will probably want Britt to look the other day why he pushes his new drugs in Port Charles. But will Britt agree to Cyrus’ terms?
General Hospital – Britt Westbourne Has Been Working With Jason Morgan
General Hospital’s Britt has been working with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to bring down Cyrus. Will Britt give up her quest to stop Cyrus so she can get treatment? Can Britt overlook all the people who have already died from Cyrus’ drugs to seek help for herself? Britt was completely disturbed by the young people dying from these drugs. However, Britt has also been known to be very self, she did steal an embryo once. Will Britt betray Jason to get help for herself? Will the experimental drugs help Britt enough for her to give up her fight for the innocents dying from this drug?
General Hospital’s Britt is the one person who can get evidence against Cyrus. However, Britt could decide to put her health above all and accept Cyrus’ help. What will Britt choose?

I hope that Britt does not have Huntington's disease. It does not have a cure. Cyrus would not be able to help Britt to get better.
As someone who is very active in the HD community I hope the writers know what they are doing when having someone portray having HD. It would be a disgrace to the HD community to have this not well known disease incorrectly played out in a soap opera
