General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Conflict Between Scorpio & Peter Cause Anna & Finn To Split?

ABC General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and his dearly beloved; Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), could find their engagement in dire jeopardy if the conflict between Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) spirals out of control. As GH fans know, things have gotten dicey as Scorpio appears to have gotten closer to busting Peter for his myriad crimes.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Gets Desperate

As most GH viewers know, Peter wasn’t actually trying to cause the death of Scorpio’s former wife, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). All Peter knew was that Scorpio seemed to be closing in on him and might be close to getting evidence that Peter had framed Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Peter couldn’t allow that to happen so he set up what he believed would be a “diversion” for Scorpio … something to throw the Port Charles District Attorney off the case.

However, things went wrong and Peter’s diversion apparently caused the death of Holly. Intentional or not, everyone knows that if Scorpio becomes convinced that Peter was behind it, he’ll be out for blood.

GH Spoilers – Robert Scorpio No Longer Cares

With the loss of Holly fresh on Scorpio’s mind, it’s entirely possible that he’ll become even more belligerent with Peter than he’s been already. For those who don’t remember, Scorpio has verbally accosted Peter more than once and then lived to face the wrath of Anna. Each time, Scorpio’s swallowed his pride, at least to a degree, and has managed to attempt an (on the surface) cordial relationship with Peter.

However, with Holly gone Scorpio could become even more caustic and Anna won’t likely be able to keep him from saying what he really thinks and feels. Imagine Scorpio showing up at Anna’s house while Peter is thereafter Scorpio’s had a bout with the bottle. Scorpio might cause quite an ugly scene.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn’s Had Enough

The real problem in this entire scenario is that Finn is caught between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, he loves Anna. On the other, Finn’s had his own suspicions about Peter for a long time. Like Scorpio, on the surface, Finn has agreed to back off and believe that Peter is innocent of all the accusations that have been thrown his way.

Peter seems innocent in Finn’s mind right now, but should the winds of fortune begin to blow in another direction and tension begins to mount … all while Anna continues to insist that her beloved Peter is a saint … Finn could decide to call it quits. All the amazing plans Finn and Anna might have had together for a wedding and life together won’t be enough to change Finn’s mind either.

In such a scenario, Finn will feel that Anna’s become unstable, refusing to accept reality and if the truth is told, he doesn’t need the drama and he still has his daughter, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) to think of.
