Laura may have no ammo to stop Cyrus from getting his hands on GH. She thinks that the Quartermaine’s are going to step in and save the hospital but she doesn’t know they are open to a takeover at the moment.

Which means Cyrus may have an opening to exploit. It would be bad enough to have Cyrus in control of the hospital but what if he brings back Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to help him? No one will want to work with Cyrus, just as no one wanted to work with Liesl. She is not afraid to skirt the law and break the rules and as such she and Cyrus would be a match made in Hades!

Can you see Cyrus and Liesl running GH? Sure, there is the board and the chief of staff, but money talks and if Cyrus has enough, he will be delivering soliloquies to his heart’s desire.
Back in the day, Edward Quartermaine was in the position Cyrus apparently wants to be in now. Edward could walk the hospital halls and snap his finger and whatever he wanted to have done got done no questions asked.

Cyrus clearly wants to be able to do that, and at the same time look respectable to the community. He may succeed and wouldn’t it be fun if he did so with Liesl on his arm as partners in crime? Tell us what you think GH fans!

I think that if Cyrus does get General Hospital then I could see him bringing someone like Liesl to run the hospital. Monica has already told him that she will not support him.
I have been watching GH for over 40 years and Edward never walked the halls snapping his fingers to get things done at the Hospital. Also, Leisel was starting her way down a new path when she was removed to the Hague. He will be gone….
