General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Cyrus Discovers Chase Investigating Jason Accident, Demands Jordan Fires Him?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, New York Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will go behind Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) back to continue investigating Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) motorcycle tampering!

General Hospital Spoilers – Jordan Ashford Pulled Harrison Chase Off The Case

Viewers will recall that Jordan pulled Chase off the case after Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) told her to call off the dogs! Chase is not one to just let something go, and he is like a dog – with a bone! He strongly disagreed with Jordan’s dropping the investigation. She said there wasn’t any evidence to keep pursuing the case into the tampering with Jason’s motorcycle. Chase knows that there is, so he disobeys Jordan’s orders and goes behind her back, continuing to investigate.

He strongly suspects that Jason’s motorcycle was tampered with, and that Cyrus is indeed behind it; which he was! Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason know that it was tampered with and that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) wasn’t behind it as well. Of course, now that Brando is investigating Cyrus undercover, by infiltrating his mob, Chase could throw a monkey wrench into the whole mission!

Jordan, Brando, Sonny, and Jason are all in on the plan to take Cyrus down, and that is the real reason she dropped the case and told Chase to stop investigating it! But Chase isn’t in the loop, and so he is going to pursue the truth and bring the bad guy in, that’s what he’s all about!

GH Spoilers – Harrison Chase Should Know Better

Chase should know better – he doesn’t know that the exposé his own mother, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) is in town for is also about Cyrus! She and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) are working together on it. By unknowingly compromising the investigation that Sonny, Jordan, Jason, and Brando are doing, he could possibly even put his own mother and Lulu in danger! They are getting into something potentially very dangerous the way it is, even if in a sense they are doing it “undercover” as well. Of course, Jackie and Lulu are no strangers to danger.

Back in the day, Jackie inserted herself into several situations that could have gotten her into danger, and was kidnapped and nearly got stabbed once by henchmen of David Grey (Paul Rosselli). He was a cult leader who had kidnapped and hypnotized her sister, Laura Templeton (Janine Turner) into stealing merchandise for him. General Hospital viewers will recall Lulu’s story about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and it was even more dangerous – she actually did get stabbed!

If Ryan hadn’t suffered the aftereffect headache and blindness of the memory transfer experiment he had been in with his twin Kevin Collins before he could finish her off, it could have ended in Lulu’s death! Chase is walking, indeed, into a situation where he could either compromise a takedown or put himself or others in danger!
