General Hospital’s Dante chose to leave town for treatment. Dante was afraid that he would follow through with the orders given to him by Raj Patel (Noshir Dalal). Lulu begged Dante to stay and work through this together but he wanted no part of it.

Dante insisted on divorcing Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) so she could get on with her life. Dante probably isn’t going to be happy with the fact that Lulu did exactly what he told her to do. Dante couldn’t expect Lulu to wait forever especially since he gave her the all-clear to get on with her life.

When General Hospital’s Dante left town, Lulu promised to wait on him but Dante told Lulu that she might now be able to wait as long as it would take. When Dante didn’t improve and chose to divorce Lulu, she had to move on. Lulu tried to wait but she was lonely and felt that Dante had given up.

Lulu met Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and they hit it off from the start. Dustin has almost taken on a father role to Lulu’s children, especially her and Dante’s son. Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monohan). Rocco plans his father for not being in his life. Dante’s illness doesn’t matter to Rocco, he is a child. All Rocco sees is that his father abandoned him. Rocco needed male companionship and Dustin provides that. Dante has essentially lost his place in his son’s life. Has he lost his place in Lulu’s life as well?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Refuse To Get Help

Although Dante went to the WSB facility he refused to let his doctors help him. General Hospital’s Dante has chosen not to go to therapy. Dante has chosen not to try and help himself. Dante has chosen to cut himself off from his family.

Dante has chosen to walk away from his life. Does Dante expect his family to have ignored his lead and wait for him to return? Does Dante have the right to expect to return to Port Charles and pick up where he left off? Does Dante have a right to expect his wife to accept him back home?

General Hospital’s Lulu didn’t want to give up on her husband, he didn’t give her a choice. Dante gave up on himself. If Lulu doesn’t want Dante when he returns, she’s only given him what he asked for.
