General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that in Port Charles, NY Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) came out of surgery after getting shot in the chest by Alex Devane (Finola Hughes). But now that Finn’s family seems to be finally coming together, could complications from his injuries lead to an untimely end.

As with any serious medical condition, stress could lead Finn right back into a medical crisis. Finn has been estranged from his father for decades now, but is it time for a truce? That may not even be possible after their shared history!

General Hospital spoilers reveal Finn’s father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) married Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) not long after Finn’s mother passed away. But that wasn’t the real reason that Finn (Michael Easton) was so upset. His father’s new bride actually was involved with Finn before she married Gregory. As viewers know, Jackie and Finn even slept together the night before the wedding! This has caused a lot of resentment on Finn’s part. So much so that he changed his last name and started a new life far away from his dysfunctional family.

GH Spoilers – A new life in Port Charles!

Finn eventually settled down in Port Charles, eventually finding love with General Hospital cast member Anna Devane (also Finola Hughes). They have been planning their wedding for a while now, even as they dealt with Anna’s discovery that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is actually Alex’s son, not Anna’s. And Alex arrived in Port Charles and shot Finn right in the chest. Alex is now presumed dead, but Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) phoned Jackie to let Finn’s stepmom know about Finn’s injuries.

In turn, Jackie called Gregory who has now arrived in Port Charles. Now that Jackie and Finn have started to reconcile, it remains to be seen how Finn will react to see his father once again. He seems to have come out of surgery, but his situation remains critical. The stress of being reminded of their history could easily cause a setback. Finn could suffer complications from his injuries, possibly even leading up to his untimely end!
