General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: GH Flips The Script – Nina Has A Son Instead Of A Daughter – Who Could He Be?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be looking for a long-lost son instead of a daughter. Question is, who could he be? Is he someone currently living in Port Charles, or will she have to look elsewhere, perhaps in New York City?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Is Allowing For The Possibility Of A Son

Viewers will recall from recent episodes that Nina has allowed for the possibility of a son. She has always assumed that the baby was a girl, because of the necklace. However, in a conversation with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), she did talk about looking for a daughter – or a son! A half-heart could be considered unisex, and not a design necessarily limited to the female gender.

Plus, as far as Nelle Benson-Jerome (Chloe Lanier) having had what appears to be the other half, Frank Benson (played in the flashback episode by James Patrick Stuart) could have stolen it. He could have also obtained it in a pawn shop. We know Nelle had it as a child but it’s never been spelled out as to where she got it. For that matter, the split pendant could have represented fraternal twins!

Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) could have kept one half because one twin was a boy as well! But Nina took the note that her late mother left with the half she now wears as meaning the other half was with her child or represented the child. Of course, now the necklace is with Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) who found it in the woods not far from the Corinthos family cabin. She told Sonny she was keeping it for good luck – although it sure didn’t give Nelle any!

GH Spoilers – Who Could Nina Reeves’s Son Be?

General Hospital viewers who have been paying attention may recall when Nina first talked about her coma, it started later. When Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) first came on, originally played by Kristen Alderson, she was said to have been born in 1996. She was the product of Silas Clay’s (Michael Easton) affair with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). The affair was ongoing before Nina even became pregnant with her child, according to what she told Jax about Ryan’s Bar.

One would think that Nina’s child could be younger than Kiki would be now. But in recent episodes, she told Jax that Phyllis Caulfield (as yet uncast character) took care of her, Nina in 1991. The pendant was split in 1991. Nina’s child then could be twenty-nine years old as opposed to twenty-four or twenty-five. First, we can rule out at least one young man in Port Charles; Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

He could easily be around the right age, but his older half-brother Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) knows his mother, and doesn’t like her! Another younger man not currently on the show, but who could return would be Linc Brown (Dan Buran). He was the sleazy music producer that had Brook Lynn Quartermaine (temporarily Briana Lane) in an ironclad contract.

We hope we could rule him out, but he does have a slight resemblance to the late Silas Clay, who of course looks exactly like Dr. Hamilton Finn since Michael Easton played both characters. On Port Charles, Silas’ twin brother was Stephen Clay, who was in music. But having Linc for a son would be almost as bad as having Nelle as a daughter! Poor Nina!

We can rule out Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) with confidence since he is a proven relative of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But there is one young man currently in Port Charles who could be in the age range. We don’t know a lot of his background as far as his family. We know that he and Brook Lynn were once involved. That would be Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). He’s clean-cut, has many qualities that Nina’s late brother/cousin Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) had, and could be a son Nina or anyone else could be proud of!
