General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Jackie Templeton Knew Shiloh Archer - Why Didn't She Expose Him?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) knew David Henry “Shiloh” Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). The big question is, why didn’t she expose him?

General Hospital Spoilers – Shiloh Archer’s Story Of How He Knew Jackie Templeton

Shiloh’s story of how he knew Jackie was revealed in the February 8, 2019 episode of General Hospital. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had made her first visit to the Dawn of Day house. As viewers will recall, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) had joined the cult, and Sam wanted to get her out of it. In order to get her out of it, she would have to infiltrate the cult.

Sam needed to know all the secrets that Shiloh and his merry band of baddies held. She needed to know who the members were and how she could help them get free – after rescuing Kristina, of course. Sam had to get to know Shiloh as well-and at that time she hadn’t realized who he was. Shiloh was the errant son of one of Sam’s marks in the days when she married old rich men to finance her brother’s care. Danny McCall (David Greenman) had inherited a gene that caused him to be mentally handicapped.

Sam was actually younger than Danny, having been adopted as a newborn. The McCalls didn’t want to risk having another child with the same gene, called Fragile X. After their parents died, it was left to young Sam to care for Danny. She became a grifter and a con woman. Sam made a visit to the Dawn of Day house on the pretense of visiting Kristina.

Kristina had to do something and left, and then Sam had a chance to probe Shiloh. In the process, she discovered a framed photo and was amazed to see she recognized someone in it-Jackie! Shiloh and Jackie were together in the photo. Shiloh explained when doing outreach, amazing people can be met. He said he met Jackie when “they” – assuming Dawn of Day – was building sustainable housing in South America. Of course, that was HIS story!

GH Spoilers – If Jackie Templeton Was Investigating Shiloh Archer, Why Didn’t She Expose Him Then?

Viewers will recall that Shiloh didn’t start Dawn of Day until after he kidnapped Drew Cain (Billy Miller) out of Afghanistan. He likely used the money that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) paid him for her “soldier boy”. The money raised by raiding the Navy Seals bases for fuel and selling to insurgents may have been partially used. Whatever was left was what Drew Cain was able to retrieve that he was trying to return to the rightful owners in Afghanistan.

His plane crashed and he has been presumed dead ever since. After selling Drew to Helena, he moved to Berkley, California where he started Dawn of Day. It sounds like – at least according to Shiloh – that Jackie may have been doing a story on Dawn of Day, or the sustainable farming project. However, Jackie is an investigative reporter. She doesn’t do articles that do not involve some type of exposé or investigation. She never has.

Even way back when she came to Port Charles in the 1980s from New York City, she was an investigative reporter. But why didn’t she expose Shiloh? Hopefully, she wasn’t a cult member back then! Perhaps her sister Laura Templeton (Janine Turner) had gotten mixed up in the cult, and Jackie, like Sam, tried to infiltrate it to rescue her! Time will tell!

      Jackie's sister, Laura, WAS in a cult. Back in the 80's that is partly what brought Jackie to the show, that her sister had been hypnotized by cult leader, David Grey.

      I had the same feelings. Shiloh is probably on his way back to PC as writers seem to want PC filled of monterous people to torture the current residents. Both Cyrus and the possible return of Nelle at the same time on canvas is most disheartening for my vewing pleasure. I am a long time viewer and continue to view with the hope that story lines will change.

      I'm thinking that Shiloh is on the way back to PC after hearing about Nelle, his former wife. After all, a body wasnever found, therefore I think he's still hiding out somewhere.

      It would be interesting if Laura Templeton made an appearance too, played by Janine Turner. She was a confidante of Monica's, worked at ELQ and dated Scotty. When Laura Collins returns, they could meet and recall how they were once confused for each other. Lots of potential for this story and lots of other characters from the past who could make an appearance still tied in with characters who have been a part of the show for years.

      Writers you are screw up big time some things we wait and wait for a long time and you about to ruin that I hate you writers right now no way you can make it up to me and their fans I’m on them they just got started and now you ripping them apart that ain’t the way to do it writers come on how we stuffed enough writers know what I’m talking about he need to fight for her if he doesn’t he’s weak
