General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors: Nelle Blackmails Valentin In To Marrying Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that if Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) takes the advice of his lawyer, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and gets married in order to bolster his credentials in court, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) may just fight fire with fire!

GH viewers may indeed see Nelle decide to try her own hand at reinforcing her own image as a loving, competent, stable mother. The question for many viewers is just who would have her? That seems like a snarky question, perhaps, but it’s not. Most GH characters know who Nelle is. They’ve all experienced her horrible, lying, scheming ways and want nothing to do with her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson Is Manipulative

At the same time, however, most GH fans understand just how manipulative this super dark GH character really is. She’s been able to tie male characters around her little finger with ease. Consider her former relationship with a police detective, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)! She knew the man from back in her days in Florida. Nelle put on her charm and boom! Chase and she became lovers lickity-split. Unfortunately, for Chase, she nearly ruined his career.

The point here is that Nelle is quite capable of seducing someone in Port Charles if she believes it will give her an advantage. She may simply have to bat her eyes, cry some crocodile tears, and make some poor sap believe that she is the victim of a vast conspiracy by the Corinthos crime family. Once hooked, she may convince that person that he’s her white knight, coming to the rescue!

GH Spoilers – Nelle Benson Had been Acquitted Of Charges

Now, GH viewers may remember that after Nelle was acquitted of all charges against her during her arraignment, she made a phone call. On the other end of the line, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made noises about how she’d won a miraculous victory and how she ought to take advantage of her newfound freedom while she could. Nelle then sought to ask Valentin out, but he quickly closed down that line of inquiry.

Yet, the facts of the matter are that Valentin has helped Nelle practically every step of the way. He offered to buy her shares in ELQ. At the same time, he provided her with forged passports and birth certificates so that she could quietly exit the scene and live her life happily somewhere far from Port Charles. Then, when she was arrested, he saw to it that those same documents went missing from the PCPD’s possession. Who is to say that if approached, he might not agree to a marriage of convenience with Nelle Benson? It all has to do with motivation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Revenge Against Michael Cassadine

GH viewers may agree that up until now, everything Valentin has done vis-à-vis Nelle has been to hurt the Corinthos family in one way or another. It’s not that he cares about Nelle. In fact, he may simply view her as a tool in his quest for vengeance against Michael. However, if that’s the case, then what’s one more step along the road to sweet revenge?

In fact, a marriage between Valentin and Nelle could be a win-win for both of these evil GH characters. As a couple, the two just may be able to whip up a dish best served cold, and then gloat as Michael is forced to choke down what Nelle’s been cooking!
