General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that several signs point to there being a huge surprise in store for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), the top cop who is now testing the romance waters with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Is Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) coming back after recovering from a coma?

That’s not the direction the rumor mill is headed in, but speculation is that Dante could have a blast from the past on the horizon. Could it be that Dante has a son he doesn’t know about? Could be.

So it didn’t happen that Dante was a secret dad, but there is another young man who we know is coming to Port Charles, New York, and he has a Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) connection. Newbie Dex (Evan Hofer) is coming to town and he has a ton of potential to be related to Dante.

Second, we are now in the May Sweeps period and so any story that involves Dante will likely be big. Show spoilers reveal that Sam McCall is about to get a shock glimpse into Dante’s past which sounds like the perfect plan to revisit Dante’s long-lost child plot. Evan Hofer debuts as Dex during the week of May 2-6 and we know he will appear to ask Sonny for a job.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens Next In Port Charles, New York?

New characters often have a secret connection to a character that is already on the canvas. That is exactly what happened between Sonny and Dante. Sonny had no idea that his young flame Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) had his son and kept quiet about it.

She was concerned that Sonny would be a bad influence and boy was she ever right about that! Mobster Sonny actually lured cop Dante to his house and shot him point blank in the chest. Let’s hope that if Dex is Sonny’s grandson history doesn’t repeat itself!
