ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal there could be a drumroll moment in Port Charles, New York for Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) leading up to the big announcement, “We’re pregnant!”

What does Ava regret more than anything in the world? That would be the awful, horrible, detestable way she treated her late daughter Kiki Jerome. There is no doubt she would move heaven and earth to change her actions and bring back her daughter. That can never be though and if she thought she would have a re-do with her young daughter Avery Corinthos (Grace and Ava Scarola) she thought wrong.

Ava loves Avery but her baby daddy has prevented her from being a day in, day out mom to the little girl. And with good reason; Ava isn’t exactly mother of the year material. Ava has shown her unbridled mothering instincts by taking Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) under her wing. She hired the teen to be an assistant at her art gallery and has dispensed advice and hugs on a regular basis. It’s clear that she would love to have a child of her own to coo over.

Ava has even won over Trina’s mom Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) who once thought she was the devil incarnate.

General Hospital spoilers – What Are The Chances That Ava Jerome And Nikolas Cassadine Are Pregnant?

What takes place in the world of soaps is wildly unpredictable except when it isn’t: for every good twin there is a bad twin, people who die come back from the dead, and people who end their relationship find a complication to keep them together.

Ava and Nikolas are in a marriage of convenience. This week Nikolas confessed he actually loved Ava and she responded by demanding a divorce. They recently slept together and all signs point to a potential pregnancy to complicate the state of their union.
