General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Nina Discovers Jax and Carly’s Nelle Secret – Will She Keep Their Secret?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is keeping a secret from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He’s keeping the secret that Nelle Benson-Jerome (Chloe Lanier) fell from a cliff to her presumed death, to protect Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) who he is keeping the secret with. If Nina were to find out that Jax is keeping secrets, it may not go well!

Of course, Nina understands that sometimes secrets must be kept – even between a wife and a husband or between two lovers. The types of secrets, for instance, that a policeman, agent, or detective has to keep from their significant others would be allowed.

Even trade secrets or other secrets sometimes have to be kept within a business, doctors or nurses have to keep patient records confidential, as do attorneys. But the type of secret that Jax is keeping could cause her to overreact if she were to find out, because of all the lies Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) told her and all the secrets that he kept.

Jax is a completely different person than Valentin, but this secret is something that should not have been kept secret – especially not from law enforcement, and especially not keeping a secret with his ex-wife!

Nina and Jax weren’t involved back nearly a year ago when Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) turned up alive, so that would not have mattered that Jax kept his secret – along with Carly – back then. But now, it looks like Jax and Nina have been getting very serious with each other – and any secret kept from Nina other than business-related could hurt her or cause her to be upset!

GH Spoilers – There Is A Possibility That Nelle Benson Survived

There is a slight possibility that Nelle survived, considering a river at the bottom of the cliff was mentioned recently and Nelle was or is a strong swimmer. But with Jax and Nina seriously involved with each other, and Nina still taking concern for Nelle’s welfare he should let her in the loop.

Nina didn’t go through with being a good character witness for Nelle in the custody hearing, but that may have been for Nelle’s best interests. Viewers will recall that Nina had compassion for Nelle, but also realized that she would not be a good mother at this time in her life. Sometimes love must be tough even with parents towards their grown children.

Of course, Nina does not yet know that Nelle likely is or was her daughter, but that could be revealed soon. Jax doesn’t know yet either, so Nina couldn’t fault him for that. But she could definitely be very upset if she finds he has kept any kind of secret that would affect her, because of her experiences with Valentin!

Another thing to consider is that upcoming spoilers indicate that Carly and Nina will bond; so that gives Nina an opportunity to see Avery Corinthos-Jerome’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) “new necklace” and questions about it might lead to Jax and Carly’s secret about Nelle being exposed as well as the likelihood of Nelle being Nina’s daughter!
