However, Neil somehow managed to overdose on opioids and die in Alexis’ bed. To add insult to injury, Neil’s brother further berated Alexis by blaming her for Neil’s death leading her to fall off the wagon and into old patterns. Alexis planned to go home but Ned doesn’t want to be alone. Where will they go from here?

General Hospital’s Ned has lost the family company to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Ned has disowned his daughter who was later almost killed. Ned has further alienated his wife who left town with another man. As far as Ned is concerned, things can’t get any worse. Feeling sorry for himself has prompted Ned to begin to think about his and Alexis’ past. Ned and Alexis didn’t have a great love but they had respect. However, Alexis left Ned at the altar instead of marrying him.

They refer to themselves as the gatekeepers, however, Ned and Alexis’ marriage would have never survived the rest of the Quartermaines. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop them from sharing a kiss or leaving the Floating Rib together. Will Ned drop Alexis off at home and return to the Quartermaine mansion or will he go home with Alexis?

General Hospital’s Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCeciro) is heading home to her husband after a trip to Monte Carlo with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). However, Olivia did try to let Ned know what was going on, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) chose to delete the message. Will Olivia learn that Ned was at the Floating Rib and follow the trail to Alexis’ house?

If Olivia follows them there will she find Alexis and Ned in bed together? Will Alexis confront them if she does or runs back to the Metrocourt and have sex with Robert Scorpio for revenge?
