General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Has Initial Relief
Many GH fans know that Peter August has apparently spent a lifetime trying to erase any connection he’s had to his psychotic father, Cesar Faison. All of the crimes Peter has committed, by and large, have been done in an attempt to remove himself from his Cesar’s influence and to move himself into a position where he could at last lead a normal life. Imagine how Peter might feel should he suddenly discover that Cesar was not his father after all!
The truth is that if such an event occurred, Peter would no doubt experience an intense moment of complete and utter relief! One can just see Peter falling to his knees, thanking the heavens that his heritage is no longer one of murder, kidnapping, emotional manipulation, and brainwashing!
GH Spoilers – Peter Should Have Figured it Out Already
With as smart as Peter August is supposed to be, one has to wonder why he didn’t think of this for himself already. Doesn’t Peter know that his mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) absolutely loathed Cesar Faison? What makes Peter truly believe that Anna would compromise all of her feelings, her standards and principles, and her integrity in order to sleep with Faison? Was Anna really someone who would do anything, say anything, in order to get ahead at the World Security Bureau (WSB)? Is it possible that Anna could even have been brainwashed into thinking she slept with Faison? Isn’t it possible that was really Anna’s evil twin sister who did the deed?

After all, as some GH fans have repeatedly pointed out, Anna met and married Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) at a time when she would have just had Peter. Isn’t it more likely then that Peter and Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) are both Scorpio’s children? One might even dare to ask if it’s possible that Peter and Robin are not fraternal twins!
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Freaks About Scorpio
Considering the fact that Peter and Scorpio don’t like each other much, it may be a bit hard for Peter to come to terms with the idea that his nemesis is actually his father. It may not even change Peter’s opinion of Scorpio at all. It might be even harder for Scorpio to come to terms with the idea that Peter is his son! In the end, however, some believe that it’s more likely that these two stubborn GH characters will at least agree to put down their knives for the sake of Anna.
The bottom line is that if Cesar isn’t Peter’s father, then Peter might have a real chance to shake the mental prison he’s been living in. Peter might actually come up with a plan that fixes his former mistakes without harming anyone in the process, and with no one being the wiser.

One thing is sure if Peter is able to do all that … he’ll be saving more than his own life. Peter will be saving the new family he’s creating with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
