General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors: Sonny Thinks Nina Is His Wife, Will She Tell Him The Truth?

General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will spot Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at the Tan-O when she is visiting Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). General Hospital viewers will recall that he had some flashbacks of a tall blonde woman he was dancing with. Will Sonny think Nina is his wife when he sees her? Would Nina let him think so to get back at Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Blonde And Tall, Nina Reeves Is Blonde And Tall

Carly is blonde and tall, and Nina is blonde and tall. Whether Nina would correct him if he thinks she’s his wife based on those flashbacks of dancing with Carly is entirely dependent on if it happens in front of Phyllis. General Hospital viewers will remember that the first time Phyllis was seen, she had met with Nina and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) at the Metro Court, to talk about the half-heart pendant. Phyllis was the one who was able to fill in some of the missing blanks as to confirming that Nina’s baby was a girl, that she was healthy when born, and also that she was tasked with taking her to her adoptive parents.

She confirmed, as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had discovered, that her mother Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) had used a black market baby broker to place Nina’s baby girl with a family. Had Phyllis known it was done black market she probably would never have agreed to delivering the baby, but she drove from New York all the way to Northern Florida where she met the parents and delivered baby girl Janelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to Frank Benson (played in a flashback episode by James Patrick Stuart) and his second girlfriend or wife, after he had divorced Virginia Benson, (Lois Nettleton) who had been Carly’s adoptive mother.

Through adoption, Carly and Nelle could have been considered half-sisters through Frank. Nelle’s adoptive mother was never revealed. Phyllis knows that Nina was involved with Jax, and that she wasn’t currently married. However, if Sonny and Nina spot each other and Phyllis isn’t there, Nina might let “Mike” think she is his wife!

Nina may certainly be tempted to let “Mike” think she’s his wife if he thinks so and it’s not in front of Phyllis. But more than likely, Nina will think better of it, considering there would be questions from Phyllis about Nina’s and “Mike’s” relationship to one another! Phyllis may be anxious for Nina to help “Mike” get back to his home and his real wife, and Nina won’t think it’s quite time for that yet. Besides, right now Nina is pretty upset with Carly and with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) for denying her access to her grandson Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson) after at first they had.

Nina had been honest but maybe a little too honest about explaining how she was his grandmother but not Willow’s mother. The toddler didn’t quite understand what Nina had meant, and told Willow that Nina said Willow wasn’t her mother when she was the only mother he remembered! That upset the whole apple cart right there, with Michael realizing Nina didn’t know enough about toddlers not to tell him such a thing – it would have been appropriate when he was older and could understand concepts like adoption.

That could lead to even more complications, such as Nina telling Wiley that Sonny wasn’t his real grandfather since Sonny adopted Michael! More than likely, whether in front of Phyllis or not, she will deny knowing Sonny at all. She will suggest something like possibly “Mike’s” wife reads Crimson Magazine and he had seen her in the magazine! Right now, Nina might be thinking keeping the knowledge that Sonny is alive to herself would benefit her better where Carly especially is concerned!
