General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Peter August, Peter August, Wherefore Art Thou, Peter August?
General Hospital viewers know that Finn and Elizabeth privately said in a recent episode of General Hospital that “they’ll never find Peter”. But the big question is, where did they hide his body? Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Helena Cassadine once had a laboratory in the General Hospital basement – and actually, it may be below the basement.
This is an area of the hospital that no one ever goes in, and it has not been used by anyone since Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) kidnapped him and tried to use ancient Chinese magic to resurrect her late obsession, Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) in his body! She also kidnapped Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) at the time. At least one person in Port Charles knows where that old lab is, and possibly more than one. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is one of those people because she rescued her daughter Robin and Griffin, although Anna did faint at the time and Olivia got away.
Anna had just developed the blood disorder that she suffers from and has to have frequent phlebotomies in order to keep it under control. Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) also knows of the lab as many several who work in General Hospital. If that is indeed where Finn and Elizabeth stashed Peter’s body, a recent General Hospital episode may have given an additional clue as to its location.
GH Spoilers And Rumors – Anna Devane Had Trouble With An Elevator
Naturally, unless Finn and Elizabeth shot Peter full of embalming fluid – which they could have since a hospital morgue would have this preservative – sooner or later, he’s going to start stinking! General Hospital viewers know that Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had preserved Peter’s father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) brain in formaldehyde.
Typically, embalming fluid contains a mixture of formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, methanol, and other solvents, although if the embalming fluid mix wasn’t available formaldehyde alone would work. Finn and Elizabeth could have easily set up Peter’s body with an IV in the old lab and drained his blood and replaced it with formaldehyde.
This may not be his final resting place due to all the people that come in and out of the hospital. In a recent General Hospital episode Anna confirmed that the search for Peter included the General Hospital surveillance tapes but said there were some skips. If the cameras covered the General Hospital roof, then Finn may have known how to edit them to show Peter on the roof with the phone trying to get the helicopter to land. Finn would have then needed to edit out the parts where he and Peter got into the confrontation that led to Peter’s death.
In the same General Hospital episode, Anna was standing at an elevator in the hospital when Liesl came up to her and asked her about her frustration. The elevator could be heard making a rubbing noise and would not operate before Liesl took her to beat out her frustrations on a bunch of old office equipment in a storage room. There’s a good chance that the elevator got stuck on Peter’s body, which may have gotten caught on it if it goes to the sub-basement where Helena’s old lab is and Finn and Elizabeth stashed him at the bottom of the elevator chamber underneath the elevator itself!
