General Hospital Spoilers: Two Enemies Team Up For A Common Goal-Brennan And Valentin Rescue Anna?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease two enemies could team up for a common goal-even though they are at odds, and one wants to imprison the other.

Might Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bury the hatchet and  rescue Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

Valentin Wants To Rescue Anna Despite Carly’s Objections

Valentin wants to rescue Anna despite Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) objections-and those objections are pretty strenuous.

But he does understand the importance of finding Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) because he’s come to agree with Carly that she’s been taken.

Little do they know, however, that Anna left some makeshift tools behind in her underground prison where Josslyn now is-and Josslyn might just rescue herself!

But Anna’s a different story; not only is she in a mental institution, her rescuers need to be known to her for her to trust them.

And Anna, Valentin and Jack were in WSB spy school together-she has known them since before her marriage to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Brennan May Feel Responsible Since He Didn’t Question “Anna’s Mission”

Brennan may feel responsible since he didn’t question Anna’s “mission”…he in part was responsible for her being forced to quit the WSB to begin with, because of old double agent work years ago.

It’s true that Anna once was a double agent, working for both the WSB and the DVX-Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) had been her boss, and he became obsessed with her.

However, much of the criminal activity attributed to Anna in her double agent days was actually perpetrated by her twin, Alexandra Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) who was tasked with impersonating her.

He didn’t even question that she was called back into action, but now he knows the truth-undoubtedly, she was kidnapped by Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

He’s realized that Josslyn found the cigarillos and the Crystalline Conspiracy book in Cullum’s coat because he’d impersonated Faison and terrorized Anna!

Brennan Stressed To Nina That He Needs Valentin

In Monday, June 1st’s episode, Brennan stressed to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that he had to find Valentin, and the fact is, he needs him.

For one thing, Valentin has intimate knowledge of Faison’s last project, the prototype weapon using cold fusion, and he told Carly he’d go to Wyndemere and shut it down first.

At first, the story had been that the WSB had wanted the weapon, but that was before Brennan found out Cullum was dirty!

Brennan heard Cullum say to him after he was brought into General Hospital after Nina accidently stabbed him in the back with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) syringe, that he’d planned to kill him.

Once Valentin shuts down the prototype weapon that was Faison’s final project, he and Jack put aside their grudges, bury the hatchet, and go rescue Anna!
