General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Defiance And Emma’s Kidnapping – A High-Stakes Bargaining Chip?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) declines to join Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) games, the villain might abduct Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and use her as leverage.

It’s unclear why Anna is being held captive on Spoon Island; however, since Pascal (Marc Forget) is attending to Anna, it’s evident that Sidwell is orchestrating the mind games to some extent.

Anna Is Trying To Stay Calm

Anna is striving to stay calm and focused given her current circumstances, but if she reaches her breaking point, she might refuse to cooperate any further.

Sidwell is a skilled manipulator, and his secret investor remains an enigma. That said, both may have devised a plan that requires Anna’s assistance to advance their sinister agenda.

During the episode on Thursday, December 18, Pascal delivered a meal to Anna, and beneath the tray, she discovered a copy of Faison’s book, authored under the name PK Sinclair.

Interestingly, PK Sinclair was also a pseudonym used by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for a book he wrote; the novel contained an inscription that read, “For my muse -C.”

Anna Will Likely Refuse To Cooperate Or Engage With Pascal

With little insight into Anna’s struggles, as GH viewers haven’t seen her since, it’s likely that when Anna next appears, she will be unwilling to engage in anything Pascal offers moving forward. There’s a possibility that she will be asked for information or intel, and she may refuse.

Perhaps she will outright stop following any directives given to her, prompting Sidwell and his secret investor to resort to more underhanded tactics. Anna is cherished in Port Charles, but her only family in town at the moment is her beloved granddaughter, Emma.

If Anna, as a highly trained superspy, could vanish without a trace, then Emma would have no chance of escaping.

Emma Could Be Confined In The Same Place As Anna

Without any knowledge of the size of the prison at Wyndemere, Emma could be abducted and confined in the same facility as Anna and also with a camera.

Emma’s abduction would certainly motivate Anna to share any information or intelligence, but could it also provide her with an opportunity to devise a plan for escape to rescue both herself and her granddaughter?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that no one has shown any concern since Anna departed, but if Emma were to vanish as well, it might raise alarms.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) seems suspicious already about the photo of her grandmother she showed her on her phone.

At this point, their  mutual loved ones would prompt a search, particularly if Giovanni “Gio” Mazza expressed worries to his father, acting PCPD Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
