General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will return with deadly intentions-who is her takedown target?

It’s a good possibility that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will be at the top of her to kill list, although she may not be the one to ultimately take him out!

No One Could Blame Anna For Wanting To Take Down  The Man Who Tormented Her

No one could blame Anna for wanting to take down the man who tormented her; Cullum brainwashed, kept her captive, drugged, and masqueraded as Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Cullum literally broke her down and made a once fearless and strong woman crazy-yet, she never gave up trying to escape his torment, even after she was committed to a mental institution.

Cullum had her totally believing he was Faison come back from the dead, even after she had seen him dead in his coffin, spoke to his corpse, and saw his brain in a jar on Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) desk!

And who knows what indignities Cullum perpetrated on Anna as she was under the influence of likely hallucinogenic drugs?

And what might have been included in her phlebotomy treatment that she hallucinated Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) performing?

What Cullum Did To Anna Was The Epitome Of Brainwashing Torture

What Cullum did to Anna was the epitome of brainwashing torture, every bit as cruel as waterboarding and other techniques used to coerce secrets out of enemies.

And yet, while she was held captive, first under Wyndemere in an area that possibly once held Cesar himself captive, then in a mental health clinic full of Cullum plants, she still investigated.

GH summer spoilers show her silent, but accurate, detective work did bring her truth-she’s got the goods on Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) even though initially she bought he was Nathan West (Ryan Paevey)!

And now Anna convinces the doctors that she’s fully recovered and soon will be on the way home to Port Charles-and plots her takedown as she crochets.

Anna Will Take A Big Risk

Anna will take a big risk after arriving in Port Charles-possibly landing on the doorstep of the WSB field office, unaware that Cullum demoted Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna).

On the other hand, Anna might know exactly what she’s doing, and come prepared with a weapon, unlike when she was kidnapped.

Or, will she wind up dropping in at Wyndemere, possibly after learning Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is on the run after shooting Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) in a setup?

Since during her time in the French clinic, her family was not allowed to communicate, she should take a few days to catch up on what’s happened.

But instead, it sounds like she’s going to take immediate action to eliminate the threat of Cullum, before he has the chance to hurt anyone else!
