General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has suffered so much pain already. Her first pregnancy didn’t end well. She was confident about giving her child up for adoption so that his birth father — David Henry Archer, also known as “Shiloh” (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) — would never know he existed. But she did not expect to find out her baby had actually died, after growing attached to Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) when she believed he was her child. Why did she believe that — the babies were switched, of course! This is a soap opera! The question now is, will it happen again?

Willow isn’t just pregnant; she’s pregnant and battling leukemia. So far, there hasn’t been much discussion about how having cancer could affect her child in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Is Willow putting her child at risk by refusing to treat her cancer? Will she give in to her doctors’ guidance before it’s too late?

Rumors are swirling that Willow’s baby may not make it, and someone will pull a baby switch with Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) to try to spare Willow from a broken heart. Knowing that Willow has already suffered the loss of her first child, and grieving letting go of him twice, no one who cares about Willow will want to see her endure that again. Will a well-intentioned friend help Willow out and grab Esme’s baby as a replacement, thereby leaving Esme to grieve?

General Hospital Spoilers – Indicate Esme Price’s Pregnancy Lines Up Perfectly

Esme and Willow are magically both at the start of their second trimesters. They’re sure to be due around the same time, and due dates are just guesses anyway — with a few weeks on either side of them being considered normal. Will Esme and Willow go into labor at the same time? It’s unlikely that it is something that will be planned in advance, as Willow would then be aware of her baby’s demise happening in utero. If another baby swap occurs, it’ll be on the heels of chaos and spur of the moment.

GH Spoilers — Who Would Facilitate The Swap?

There are people on both sides of these pregnancies that would rather see Willow become a mother and Esme grieve the loss of control she obtained over the Cassadine family. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) certainly wouldn’t want to share a child with Esme if he thinks he can just pass it off as someone else’s baby. Of course, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) might also be willing to lie to Willow about this baby swap if he thinks it will protect Willow from further heartbreak.
