General Hospital Spoilers: Are Maxie and Spinelli Headed For Marriage?

General Hospital Spoilers leak Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) have been a little bit ho-hum in recent months ever since they reunited.

We were on pins and needles waiting for that reunion to happen, and when it did, suffice it to say it was a little anticlimactic.

General Hospital Spoilers —Maxie Jones Is Busy Holding On To Deception 

Still, we were expecting more than for Spinelli to just end up another cast regular who Maxie could play off of. There hasn’t been much focus on their relationship or the way their coming back together has changed their family unit.

We just expected more, but hey, maybe more is on the horizon. Rumor has it that while Maxie is busy still trying to hold Deception together, and Spinelli is finding himself comfortable back in cahoots with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), they may find their way together down the aisle.

GH Spoilers— Spinelli Would Marry Her Today

Spinelli has been pining for Maxie for years, but her hesitancy to take their relationship to any level beyond friendship and co-parents was evident all along.

It took some serious coaxing and the comfort of having him shack up at her place this time for her to come around to thinking of him as more than that.

Now, she can’t imagine her life without him and doesn’t want to, but we’re betting she still has concerns in the back of her mind that she’ll somehow screw it up and hurt him. As for Spinelli, that’s the furthest thing from his mind. He’s got a finish line in sight.

Could it be that we see Maxie and Spinelli get married soon? The maxonista sure does know how to kick off a stellar marriage ceremony, but we’re not sure whether she would insist on being her typical control-freak self and plan the event entirely, or whether she’d outsource when it’s her own shindig in the works.

Either way, we suspect Maxie would throw her all into a wedding with Spinelli, even though she may battle anxiety the whole time that she could lose him. She’s been through that before, after all

GH Spoilers — Baby Makes Four?

This time around, we’d like to see Maxie and Spinelli capstone their union with a more traditional flair. The first time she got pregnant, it was quite a scandal. She was supposed to be acting as a surrogate for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) — her best friend.

When she thought she was miscarrying, she wept in Spinelli’s arms and fell into bed with him, which of course led to the conception of Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher).

The second time around, James West (Gary James Fuller) was a welcomed addition to her family with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), who died before he could ever meet his son.

The third go-around with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) produced the very best of — and perhaps only good in — him, Bailey Louise Jones (Riley and Miley Plonski).

If Maxie and Spinelli are destined to have another child, we hope for her sake it’s a far less stressful situation that is planned and involves both of them sticking around. As for wedding bells, it’s hard to say whether they’ll come first. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
